3rd POV

Next Day

Saija was sat on the floor, propped up by the wall, the thick blanket wrapped tightly around his shoulders. The man had given it to him after his meal yesterday. Though it didn't help much, Saija couldn't help but be overjoyed by this little piece of comfort.

Saija's eyes were glued to the little glass panel in the door, knowing that the man would be making his rounds soon, bringing by the food that Saija needed oh so badly.

Time ticked by, and the deafening silence only grew louder, the ringing in Saija's ears following suit.

As if the man could read his mind, the lights flickered on, and the man walked in. Saija smiled as he stared at the plate in his hand, but as his gaze rose, he froze. The man's hair was tangled and matted, with bits of dried blood interspersed. His clothes were drenched in blood, the scent of sweat and death thick in the air. Saija's brows furrowed noticing the gash in his shirt and chest, a fresh wound showing through.

He looked toward Saija, his eyes dark, and filled with anger as he walked over. He dropped the plate on the ground in front of Saija, the sandwich falling apart in the process.

"Eat." Levi ordered, his voice low and assertive. Saija gulped nervously, glancing at the sandwich. His mind instantly being filled with anxiety as he let the blanket fall from his shoulders. He began to eat, but as he did, his feelings started to waver, and he couldn't help but feel a small sense of concern for the man.

He paused, glancing up at the man, meeting his eyes once more. Levi looked pissed, and Saija looking up only seemed to make things worse. Levi let out a growl in annoyance, kicking the sandwich, and sending it flying into the nearby wall. He then reached down and pulled Saija up by his shirt slamming him into the wall.

Saija let out a wince in pain, his eye clamping shut as his head throbbed.

"You ruined everything!" He sneered, slamming his fist into the wall beside Saija's head, causing him to flinch. As he pulled his now bloodied fist away from the wall, you could now see a crack in the concrete.

"What—how?" Saija stumbled out, struggling to hear his own thoughts over his pounding heart.

"I-" He started, but stopped, not knowing how to go on. It was evident, even to Saija that not even he had an answer. "You just did!" He shouted at Saija, reaching up and roughly grabbing his jaw, his grip tight enough to leave a mark. Saija whimpered in pain, trying to pull away and push himself further into the wall. "You distracted me." He spat, gritting his teeth. Saija dithered, uncertain of how to safely get out of this situation.

He took in a deep breath, reaching a gentle hand up to Levi's bicep, his touch was comforting and caring, his fingertips tingling against the man's warm skin.

"Don't." Levi whispered, his threat coming out in a soft tone. Saija ignored and began to gently rub his arm as he met his eyes. Levi's body relaxed up a little as he exhaled a small breath. "Please," He pleaded.

"Why did you take me?" Saija questioned trying to bring Levi back to rational thinking.

"I thought you would make me happy." He spoke in a soft whisper, his hand caressing Saija's cheek, as his gaze softened. "And you did," He breathed, placing his hand over Saija's eyes. Saija tensed, his grip tightening on Levi's arm. "You make me feel unlike I've ever felt before." He raised his mask and leaned in, his lips grazing over Saija's flushed cheek, his hot breath sending tingles throughout Saija. He pressed his lips against him, he was gentle and caring, allowing for Saija to understand he no longer meant harm.

Saija gulped nervously, a shudder shooting down his spine, tightening his hold on Levi. The man backed up, pulling down his mask and removing his hand from Saija's eyes, but Saija could still feel it. The kiss lingered, his lips gentle and warm, and the stubble pricking against his smooth skin.

"I need to take you out of the basement." Levi said, his voice laced with lust. Saija, still feeling the effects of the events from moments before, shifted back, letting his hand fall from Levi's arm.

"Why?"

"I want to keep you safe from the others?" He said, reaching forward and running his fingertips over Saija's forearms. Saija's throat went dry, remembering that this man was a psycho.

"What are you going to do with them...?" He questioned, his voice low and quivering. Levi noticed the shift in mood and gently grabbed Saija's jaw.

"I'll hurt them. Then kill." He said, nonchalantly. "But they're bad men. They deserve it." He went on, his tone almost reassuring. Saija wanted to go on and ask more questions, but the growing pit in his stomach refused to allow him. "You have nothing to worry about. You won't be killed. You're good." His reassurance did nothing for Saija.

"I'm not leaving. Not knowing you will hurt someone in here." Saija snapped, suddenly gaining a small bit of confidence. He pulled away from Levi, stepping to the side.

"Yes, you will." He rebuked.

"Please—" He whimpered. "I'll do anything." He begged, but Levi said nothing and just stared at him. Saija felt horrible at the prospect of him inflicting such pain on another. "I'll stop fighting. You can hurt me," Saija pleaded, but was still met with nothing. "I'll never try to leave." He spoke, desperately. He didn't mean to say it. Not out loud at least. The thought of being here, trapped with this 'man' forever made Saija feel sick. He was about to backtrack and say something else, but Levi's curiosity was undoubtedly piqued.

"Never?" He repeated. Saija said nothing, but his silence was answer enough. "I'll stop. But the moment you even take a step in the wrong direction," He pauses, his gaze darkening. "I won't hold back." His voice low. Saija's chest caved as he let out a breath he hadn't known he was holding in, being forced to recognize the gravity of this situation. He didn't want to do it, but he knew that if refused, a lot of people's lives would be stolen. Which is why, he gave a small nod, agreeing to the 'deal'.

There was a moment of silence before Levi pulled out a ring of keys. He unlocked Saija's shackle, and dropped it to the ground.
