Chp 5

Beomgyu woke up feeling something heavy pressing down on his body. As he opened his eyes, he saw Taehyun sleeping soundly next to him. The younger's arm was wrapped around him, and one of his legs was draped over him. Taehyun's face was nestled against his neck.

Beomgyu tried to gently remove his arm from around him, but instead of loosening, his grip tightened. The younger face, previously nestled against his neck, moved to rest on his chest. Beomgyu cheeks reddened as he felt his warm breath on his neck.

"T-Taehyunie..." he gently tapped the younger's shoulder to wake him. The male grunted, slowly opening his eyes. Taehyun looked up at him, and he met his drowsy gaze.

A smile crept across on the younger male's lips.

"Good morning, my Beomgyu." Taehyun greeted. He quickly kissed the corner of the older's lips before nestling his face back into Beomgyu's neck.

"H-Hyun, w-why are you here in my room? D-Don't you like your own room?" he asked the younger who's snuggling his neck.

"Yes. I don't want to be in my room because you're not there. You know I always love being by your side." Taehyun replied.

"W-What? But–"

Before Beomgyu could finish, Taehyun lifted his face from his neck and propped himself up on either side of Beomgyu's head with his hands.

"Why? You don't want me here in your room?" Taehyun asked with a furrowed brow, hovering above him.

Beomgyu looked away, feeling uncomfortable in their current position. He didn't want to push him away for fear of hurting him.

"I-It's not that, it's just that... you are my boss, Hyunie... we aren't in rela– Aunt Soule might get mad if she finds us together here. A-Also, my bed is small, what if you fall off the bed?" Beomgyu reasoned, showing his concern gaze to the younger who's coldly looking at him.

"Okay." Taehyun said.

Beomgyu breathed a sigh of relief as Taehyun got up from his position over him and sat on the edge of the bed. Beomgyu smiled, realizing the younger was easy to convince.

"Okay. I'll buy a new bed for you. What do you think about a king-size bed? I'm sure we will fit there together." Taehyun suggested.

WHAAAAT?!!

Beomgyu's gentle smile quickly faded at Taehyun's misunderstanding. He quickly sat up in bed, realizing the younger had misinterpreted his point.

"T-Taehyunie, t-that's not what I–"

"I'm going to take a bath now! Follow me to my room afterward, okay? Let's eat breakfast together!" Taehyun quickly kissed him on the lips before heading to his room.

Beomgyu just blush and could only close his eyes in exasperation at the male's stubbornness.

Beomgyu was dressed in a simple light pink silk long-sleeve polo and white pants for their outing. While, the younger is wearing a pastel yellow sweatshirt paired with dark gray shorts. Taehyun just found out that he had never been to a mall, so the younger immediately suggested to the security they'll go out. Aunt Soule had Changbin accompany them as their bodyguard and driver.

While they sat together in the backseat of Taehyun’s car, Beomgyu couldn't help but be amazed at the scenery outside the tinted windows. It was vastly different from what he was used to see in Incheon.

After Changbin parked the car in the mall's parking lot, Taehyun eagerly pulled Beomgyu out of the car. As they walked into the mall, Taehyun intertwined their fingers. Beomgyu felt a jolt of electricity run through his body at the younger male's touch.
