Beomgyu and Taehyun immediately went to Incheon island. They didn't delay their journey further. The older was almost in a daze throughout the trip, quietly crying.

When they arrived at Beomgyu's house, his grandmother was already laid inside the white coffin, she's beautiful and sleeping peacefully. Beomgyu's knees felt weak, his heart clenched painfully as he approached the coffin. It seemed so unreal to him, it hadn't sunk in yet that his Grandmother Jung-hee was gone, that she had left him.

Grandma, wake me up from this nightmare!

I-I’m scared, Grandma... open your eyes for me!

P-Please!!!

Beomgyu wanted to shout out and plead desperately, wishing he could go back and repeat the time. His heart ached profoundly, with a deep, gaping hole that made him feel suffocated. He learned from his friends that they had found his grandmother lying peacefully in bed, no longer breathing. It was as if she was simply asleep.

His Grandmother Jung-hee had passed away in her sleep.

You're looking young, Grandma...
Why are you hiding this beauty away from me? I'm angry at you right now... Why aren't you waking up?

I already miss you...

Flood tears continued to flow on Beomgyu's red eyes as he stared his Grandmother's face. Besides, Taehyun didn't leave his side, he silently supporting him.

His friends engulfed Beomgyu inside a tight reassuring embraced to show their support and sympathy. They knew how much he was hurting from the loss of his only grandmother.

"Beomie, enough t-tears... You know Grandma Jung-hee wouldn't want you crying." Ryujin comforted him, caressing softly his red locks.

"Beom, shhh... we're here for you, hmm?" Eunseok whispered, warming up his shoulder and making a tight smile.

"I-I still can't a-accept it... It feels like just l-last week..." Beomgyu choked up and burst into tears again, his knees giving up already.

If only he had known that Taehyun's visit to the island last week would be the last time he would be with his grandmother, he would have stayed longer on the island and spent more time with her.

Taehyun hugged him, gently stroking his back.

Beomgyu just remembered their last conversation with his grandmother, that's why... That's why his grandma spoke like that to him. That was his greatest fear.

"Beomgyu-hyung, drink this. Your stomach is empty, you haven't eaten since we left Gangnam. You've been crying since earlier, you might get dehydrated." Taehyun uttered softly, handed him a glass of warm water.

Reluctantly, Beomgyu accepted it, taking a few sips before handing it back to the younger.

Beomgyu's grandmother was buried only two days later. Taehyun's siblings and other house staffs also paid their respects, the older didn't have any other relatives. Aunt Soule was also there, taking care of Beomgyu everytime and Taehyun took care of everything concerning his grandmother's burial.

Grandmother Jung-hee was buried in the small cemetery on the island where his grandfather and mother were also laid to rest. Taehyun even had a mausoleum built for the older. Beomgyu stayed on the island for a few more days before Taehyun decided they should return to Gangnam. He had school commitments, and his excuse letter only covered a few days, so he felt compelled to go back.

Kang Jungkook, one of Taehyun's older brother who owned the University, hadn't even asked him to return to school yet. But, Beomgyu was hesitant, he didn't want to take advantage of their kindness.
