(Bella's Pov)

Nelson Mandela said 'The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall'.
Looking at Y/n now, I see the tremendous courage it takes someone to not let a Traumatic event rule your life; but making it into your greatest strength.
I gentally placed my left hand on her shoulder and gave Y/n a comforting squeeze as I said soflty.
"I'm so sorry Y/n".
Y/n took a breath and said, brushing locks of her hair behind her ears.
"It's okay, I only have a couple memories of them.
(Y/n then placed a hand over the one I had on her shoulder and smiled at me.)
Even though they aren't here with me physically, their with me in spirit.
(Y/n then softly smiled, her voice soft & low enough that (anyone standing at a distance without supernatural hearing) wouldn't hear her.)
If my dad didn't ask Carlisle to promise to look after me & my mom if something went wrong, I don't think I would be where I am today".

I nodded, softly smiling at Y/n and I spoke, seeing the young woman N/n has become because of her biological parents, & the Cullens who raised her from the age of four.
"So Alice saw you coming into their lives because of Carlisle's promise"?
Y/n nodded & said before the sound of a ruckus coming through the open door of the Pack House claimed our attention.
"Yeah, yeah she did.
They left Knoxville, Tennesse to come get me.
We lived there for 12 years before we moved to Forks".
I then asked, lightly raising my eyebrow, wondering why my father did recognize Y/n since he was friends with Harry Clearwater.
"How come my father didn't recognize you when you came to visit me in the hospital after James was dealt with last year"?
Y/n then said shrugging her shoulders.
"Probably because I look similar to Esme with a tan, or if I even met Charlie before, he would have last seen me when I was a child.
Plus, the Cullen's must have faked my death so no one looked further & ended up discovering their are things lurking in the shadows.
(I nodded, Y/n was right.
If she met Charlie & she disappeared without explanation, Charlie would have moved mountains to find her.
And I don't recall Charlie mentioning a four year old disappearing from Forks when I visited him for one month every summer.
Y/n then sighed as she thought back.)
And I was a shy child around people I didn't know,
(Y/n looked at me & then nodded to the pack house.)
I only ever clicked with Leah & Seth. So me & my parents were frequently at Seth's parents house.
Plus, My memories from when I was four were pretty blurry until now.
(Y/n then held her hands out to the sides.)
The accident messed with me emotionally for a bit & I learned I wouldn't see M/n or D/n again.
So, for a time, I forgot.
(Y/n then crossed her arms & the ruckus inside grew in volume, making us turn our heads towards the house in time to see who exited first.)
I wouldn't have been able to place where I lived with my biological mother & father without asking the Cullen's even if I wasn't going through what no four year old should".

(Y/n's Pov)

Seth was the first to exit, practically flying off the steps just so he can reach Bella's truck before the others.
I'm surprised he didn't this kid didn't come with his own signature road runner *Beep* *Beep*.
His enthusiasm is what made me smile.
As Seth approached me & Jacob exited with Paul, Jared, Collin, Embry, Quil, Sam & Emily behind him, Bella moved towards her truck to make it easier for the pack to place the food in the truck bed.
As Quil & Embry passed me, Embry said seeing me cover my eyes.
"When Emily sets her mind on something it's hard to diswade her".
Emily then said coming to me with a bright smile on her face, holding a medium food storage container in a plastic bag.
"Plus I always make the boys a back up lunch".
I gentally took a hold of container & said, gentally nodding as I smiled.
"I don't know what to say except thank you".
Emily smiled & hugged me.
Saying softly while patting my back.
"Come visit us any time".
