After making sure everything was packed with my stuff, I eventually left the room. It was around 6 in the morning before the other guys decided to go back to their apartment. That left an awkward air in our apartment, something I wish would just go and fade out.
My friendship with them was over. Kissing Jaehyo was the biggest mistake in my life. Well, not obeying Jiwon was a pretty big mistake too, but I regretted both. The boys in this room were never gonna see me the same. And I would never see Minhyuk the same, not after finding the note that announced his romantic interest in me.
I was on the couch, away from the other six. They looked at me with a different expression on each face. Pyo looked disappointed, Kyung was taken back, Zico seemed almost pissed off at Jaehyo, Taeil was, you know, Taeil. Then Jaehyo, he seemed to feel the same as me, as if everyone was looking at the two of us only.
And Minhyuk, he was glaring at me. Seriously glaring, like it's all my fault.
Zico broke the stares. "Anyone care to explain?"
I only shared a gaze with Jaehyo for a moment before looking back down. He began the explanation.
"When Raekyo went out for air at Applebee's, and I followed her, we had a small conversation. I kept grabbing her hand and blushing until she questioned me. Then I kissed her."
It was hard for me to even look up at them. They probably thought I was a slut or something. So I continued the story.
"Today, in the kitchen not long ago, we got into an argument. Out of nowhere he kissed me again." I informed them, barely able to complete my sentences.
"And then I asked her a bunch of questions, and she said she didn't like me. But I ended up kissing her again. Peniel walked in, then Minhyuk, and that's that."
I built up enough courage to look up. I couldn't look at the boys, other than Minny. So I met his eyes, attempting to give him a look that meant I didn't like Jaehyo.
"What questions did you ask?" Zico questioned once more.
Jaehyo sighed and continued, "Let's just reenact it. Raekyo, do you like me?"
I remembered my answer, "No."
"Do you want me out of your life?" He repeated what he had asked multiple times earlier.
"No." I responded.
He asked the final question, "What were you thinking when I kissed you?"
"I was wondering whether I should stop you or not. I was contemplating too long and didn't realize that I should've stopped you."
Then I glanced over at Minhyuk again, watching his somewhat relieved face. All in all, though, the whole room was silent after I spoke.
As no one spoke, everything was randomly much more visible. It was bright in the living room again. I blinked a few times and then shielded my eyes from the sudden light.
"Is the power on?" Taeil basically stated, then stood to check the kitchen. He flipped the switch and the kitchen lit up. "Power's back!"
We all broke into cheer and left the living room to go back to our daily lives. It was now 7:15 in the morning, which meant everyone went to schedule today, and I was moving out meanwhile.
The first thing I did was text Jera.
*TO JERA: Hey, is your power back? We got ours.
