To be honest, I had forgotten how comfortable it was in my bed, alone. But I would've much rather slept somewhere else. There was one better option.

I couldn't help but wonder what Jera and the guys were doing right now. They were leaving Namsangol soon, and I had to go soon. If I didn't search for U-Kwon and Hyunsik now and get them to the bus before they left, we'd be walking/running to catch the bus.

I had a feeling in my stomach that we'd succeed in getting away, but at the same time, my mind screamed at me that it was all a horrible idea. Whether my gut or mind was correct, I didn't know. All I knew was that I needed to do this, and now.

TO Taeil: When are you leaving?

The timing was important. One second could determine a life at this stage, meaning if we were even a second late to getting on the bus, we'd be tracked down and shot. I had no doubt Sookyo would make up an excuse that I shot U-Kwon and Hyunsik, then myself. She wasn't dumb, and I knew that for sure.

FROM Taeil: Hold on a second, I'm starting a group chat for all of us.

Why he decided to create a group chat was unknown to me, but I was fine with it, as long as he didn't say something stupid, not like there was anything secret between us.

A moment later, I started getting continuous text messages from the group that Taeil named "Raeki Protection Squad". He changed it afterward to "RPS", the shortened version. The group consisted of me, Taeil, Jera, Zico, Kyung, Pyo, Jaehyo, and B-Bomb. No surprises that B-Bomb would be included.

FROM Pyo: Raeki, long time to see! Where are you?

FROM Zico: Pyo, she went to save U-Kwon hyung and Hyunsik hyung. Why do you think she got off the bus?

FROM Pyo: I thought she left because Minhyuk hyung yelled at her...

I decided to stop watching the conversation go downhill and actually say something.

TO RPS: Yes, that too...

Taeil kept the main goal going, because that was, after all, the point of the group.

FROM Taeil: Raeki, you wanna explain the plan to them?

I didn't know the plan completely myself. The main things were figured out, but some details slipped my mind.

TO RPS: Okay, well, all I have planned out is that when Sookyo and Uncle Yomi leave, I'm gonna lock all the doors so no one can get in, then search everywhere for the boys. If I find them, I'll text this group and let you know we're on our way. But that's all I got.

FROM Kyung: You should use your phone to record, just in case. Record the voices and hide it in your pocket, in case Sookyo shows up and starts saying shit.

FROM Jaehyo: But what if they aren't there?

One thing I hadn't worked out, if U-Kwon and Hyunsik had been hidden somewhere else. Perhaps Sookyo took them to some unseen place.

TO RPS: Then I'm gonna search the whole town until I find them. She didn't kill them, so don't even worry.

At least I didn't think, but what did I know anymore? I was clueless lately. There were quite a few things peeking my mind, like B-Bomb's attitude change, and why the world hated me so much. And still, I didn't know what my mom was keeping from me.

"Uncle Yomi, let's go! The police station just opened, and they'll be busy in a few minutes!" The annoying, squeaky voice of none other than Sookyo split my ears, followed by a grumble from Uncle Yomi, and a door slamming. I looked out my window discreetly to see the old 'family' car rolling down the road, away from the house.
