It was dark when I found myself awake. For some reason, it was harder to breathe than usual. I cracked my eyes open, and saw Minny lying directly on top of me, his face buried in my neck, and his arms slithered around my waist.
Across the room, Jaehyo was sound asleep, and thank god he was, or he would kill B-Bomb. U-Kwon probably would too.
The sensible idea would be to wake Minny up and get him off of me to save his life, but I found myself feeling security in his embrace. I ended up laying with his arms around me, feeling a little safer in someone's arm, anyone's arms.
My god, if someone walked in on this, I'd be so embarrassed, especially since U-Kwon and B-Bomb both know that Minny is my bias, and that I didn't stop him from laying with me. What's my excuse for not stopping him?
It wasn't that I wanted to lay in his embrace, I just felt the instinct to. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm enjoying hugging Minhyuk. It's been so long since I've felt secure in someone's arms. And I'm also just a cuddly person.
Laying here in B-Bomb's arms, it was actually an easy going moment for me. Just laying with a friend, enjoying the silence in the apartment. The window above me revealed the call of an owl, and Minny snored lightly in my ear, and I was able to fall asleep once again.
*
"YOU SHOT RIGHT THROUGH MY HEART. I WILL FALL FOR YOU."
I tried to rolled over on my side, but I couldn't. For a moment, I had forgotten Minny was on top of me, but quickly I realized what happened. Across the room, Jaehyo was groaning as he slowly woke, but kept his eyes closed.
I managed to maneuver my arm to reach my phone and turn on my alarm without waking B-Bomb. Just as I set my phone down, I heard the doorknob twisting, and someone opened the door. I closed my eyes to pretend I had still been asleep.
Then I heard someone gasp, then start giggling. A familiar, deep voice rang, "Ooh, U-Kwon, come look at this!" It was Pyo.
I heard U-Kwon stomp back the hallway, then I half expected him to set fire to Minhyuk or shove him out the window, but he didn't do anything. I was genuinely afraid.
"Look, her bias is hugging her."
That dick... How dare he?!
Suddenly, Jaehyo spoke, "So B-Bomb is her bias..."
After the conversation last night, that was the last thing Jaehyo needed to hear. He already thought I had a crush on Minny, and he didn't want me near him. This wasn't helping anyone at all.
Someone started shaking B-Bomb, "Hyung, you're crushing Raekyo-ah. You're gonna scare her out of the apartment." That was Pyo.
He growled in his sleepy voice and rolled off of me, but didn't let his arms unweave from my waist. He buried his face in my shoulder and fell back asleep.
I faked awakening, and yawned as I opened my eyes. Jaehyo, U-Kwon, and Pyo looked at Minny and I, a different expression on each face. U-Kwon was pissed, in an older brother kind of way, Pyo was amused, and Jaehyo looked flat out jealous. But he wasn't.
I muttered to B-Bomb next to me, "Minhyuk-oppa. Get off of me."
"Noooo, five more minutes." He whined, yawning.
I continued, "Earth to Minny. I'd like to remind you that you're currently cuddling me like a stuffed animal."
He finally sat up slowly and wiped his eyes, "Don't pretend you don't like it."
I didn't know how to respond, so I just stayed silent. Then Kyung randomly appeared in the doorway. "Good news!"
Zico followed him in, and Taeil trailed behind, his can of Lysol at hand, as if he'd use it on anyone.
