Chapter 3 - Goodbyes

Another day has begun with a lie. The first thing I have to do today is lying and thats how this day is going to end. I have to say that I'm going to NYC to a school for writers. But actually I have to go on a impossible mission that is the stupidest thing I have ever done. Wow what a life! And remember I'm not good at lying.

I got down stairs with a smile on my face. Well if I'm not good at lying doesn't mean that I don't know how to act.

"What are you so happy about?" my mom asked curious.

"Well I received a call from ummm.."

"Spill" my dad said excitedly.

"Frommmm the writing school in NYC...yeah...that's what yep" They are not going to believe me.

"That's our girl.We're so proud of you" mom and dad clapped.

Thank god they believed me.

"So when are you going?" My dad asked.

"Tomorrow. I've got to pack now." And with that I went upstairs.

Then I called Grace. Of course I have to lie to her too.

"Hey Grace! I have something important I've got to tell you."

"Hey, what's up? No no no, let me guess. You've got a boyfriend?" She asked. I'm 18 and everyone asks me if I got a boyfriend and I don't.

"No! I've got a application from a school for writers in NY and I have to move there for a year."

"Wow, I won't see you for a year? I'm gonna miss you!" She said sadly.

"I'm gonna miss you too. Hey, can you call Eve I've got to pack I don't have much time I'm traveling tomorrow."

"Okay and before you go come over to see me."

"Of course I will."

"Okay bye" and she hung up.

Now I have to go to headquarters without my parents noticing that I left.

I got out of the window. Then took my bike and got as far as I can there.

I got to the training station and trained with Logan. He seemed a little upset.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked him when we had a break.

"I'm going to miss you. And the one thing I loved the most is the trainings with you." He said that and my heart just broke.

"Your going to be in my earpiece all the time and look through the eye contacts." ( I've got two eye contacts, one normal and the other with cameras in them so the agency can see what I can see)

Then we got up did some more pushups and then we got to Adam's office.

"Are you ready for your mission?" Adam asked.

"Yes, even know I'm going to be a nerd but yes"

"Okay here are your gadgets." And that's my favorite thing.

"This is a pen and it writes, but when you blow from the back, comes out venom that can kill your suspect. Next we've got a hairspray that actually is a liquid that can show you if there is any security system. This little glue stick is special, when there is a security password you can only put this on it and in a second the door is unlocked. If you ever feel like you're drugged take one of these." He was holding a bottle of meds.

"Your going to have your own phone from the TSA and there you can find alot of apps that can help you through the mission and your going to have two guns and a knife. We're going to tell you where we hid it when the time comes."

"Cool"

"And one more thing, you're going to get another glasses and a bracelet. When you press the button on the left side of these glasses you can scan anything, you can look through walls and you can say anything to the bracelet and its going to work, like eavesdropping or call when you don't have the phone in you." And he handed me all the gadgets.

Okay maybe it won't be that bad.

Now I've got to go home fast before they see in not there.

I got home just in time when my mom came in.

"Dinner is ready" I holded my breath because I was running.

Then she got out of my room. I took a deep breath and got downstairs and on the table sitting are my parents and my younger brother Jason.

I didn't told you about Jason, his one and a half years younger than me. His the hottest guy in his school and all the girls have a crush on him. He's had 13 girlfriends and I still haven't had only one boyfriend.

We had pasta and my mom is the best at that. We eat in peace and when we finished my brother said to me to go upstairs with him.

"When did you found out you're leaving?" That question got out of his mouth. Okay Liv you gotta give all you've got. All those drama lessons are worth.

"This morning"

"How long?" He was so sad and sweet and I don't see this everyday.

"A year"

"You know I'm gonna miss you and you know that you're leaving me with old people and when I'm in collage your gonna pay." He came and hugged me.

"I'm gonna miss you too little bro."

Then one of his questions again.

"Why you don't have a boyfriend? You're sweet, pretty, funny, crazy, smart and you don't have a boyfriend. How?"

Well hon I don't have a boyfriend because I'm a spy and now I have to pretend to like nerdy boys i thought.

"I... Don't know. Maybe I'm not good enough. They like mean girls and bitches and I'm not that type of person."

"It doesn't matter."

"I've got to go, I have to visit Grace and Eve and say goodbye."

"Okay, see you later"

I went to Grace's house and Eve was at her house for a sleepover.

They attacked me with hugs. We talked about memories of our friendship and we laughed along the way.

I stayed till midnight and then I had to go home and rest because tomorrow is a big day I'm going too say goodbye to Olivia Hathaway and a big hello to Tarry Montanez.

We're sorry if it was a little boring but the next one will be great.
