Chapter 13 - Almost getting caught

Waking up at 3 pm by a nock on the door. I got up put my wig on and opened. In front of me standing Andrew's friend. What was his name? Ah Tommy.

"Hey Tommy. Um you're looking for Andr-" I fake yawned, I forgot Eddie is his undercover name. "Eddie he's still asleep."

"Okay can I come in and wait for him to wake up. I have something important to tell him."

"Sure. Sit on my bed." I am l welcomed him and he sat on my bed. "So what's up?" I asked him while putting my thing in the bag.

"Oh I just wanted to talk to Eddie about a um person um yeah. Eddie asked me to talk to him and I should tell him what we talked and it is private."

"I didn't ask about that but that works too. I don't know if he'll wake up on his own because he was pretty sleepy. You wake him up I'll go out I have to meet with my friends." Well I lied a little. Okay a lot. I'm going to spy on Edward this afternoon and that's why. Andrew wanted to come but he's still asleep and his friend wants to talk to him.

"You have friends? I tough that you are a nerd." Tommy asked curiously.

"Nerdy friends? Oh for the love of.. I'll just go. Bye." And with that I stormed out of the room.

The first thing I did I got outside to the park and I scanned the note I received. The weirdest thing is that there weren't any finger prints. I hate this guy. And how on earth did he know I'm a agent. Or maybe he was just making sure I was the one. But I didn't showed any clues, right? I think so. I'm starting to scare myself at times. I started taking to myself.

I was walking through the park and thinking about yesterday. Why did I even had a panic attack? This was my first time. Was it because I was too tired or to scared? Well every human being gets scared at times. Then I saw Edward talking on his phone behing a tree in the park. I took bracelet off and clicked the button eavesdropping. I sent Logan a message on the bracelet and I turned the speaker on.

"I couldn't find that girl. I sent a letter to one that made me suspicious but she had a break down. It isn't her." Edward said to someone.

"I told you to complete one thing and you can't even do that. I just have to do everything myself." And he hung up.

I quickly called Logan. "Did you heard that? He's the one we're looking for."

"Um I just have one question." Logan said with a worried tone. "Which girl received a note from him and had a break down or something?" When I heard that I stayed quiet. I didn't want they to think that I'm weak and that I can't thanks care of myself. If I tell him they are gonna take me back from this mission and I want to finish what I started. To complete the mission. I lost the track of Edward.

"I don't know." And I hung up.

Minutes passed. I searched the whole school but not a single singh of Edward. When i was walking back to my room I saw Andrew, Tommy and... Wait is that Edward? Those two were talking to Edward. Maybe that's the person Tommy was talking about earlier. I walked a little closer so I can hear their conversation. I hid behind a tree near the crossfield.

"So wanna hang out some time?" Tommy asked Edward or at this moment Alex.

"Sure, why not. But I'm not hanging out with the cool boys a lot. It would be just awkward."

"Of come on. We aren't the cool guys they are." From the sound of the voice I knew it was Andrew and I was sure that now he pointed at the guys that were training shirtless. They think they are cool but actually they aren't.

"Great. See you soon." And he left now I got out from behind the tree and crossed my arms. The both of them saw me and Andrew came to me and said to his friend to stay there.

"How much did you heard?"

"Enough so I can know that you two are doing things behind my back. I'm telling you everything right?" He looked at his feet and nodded. "So why are you hiding things from me?"

"I wanted to tell you yesterday but after what happened-"

"What so you mean the panic attack? And because of my panicking you didn't told me that you actually are going deep undercover?"

"Yes.. I mean no. No. No. You don't understand. Tom asked the guy if he wants to be friends. And I thought that you were talking about the other thing."

"What other thing?"

"Oh god." He took a beep breath. "I got a message on my phone from the agency and they said that Edward's uncle just robbed the most expensive jewelry store in America. And they said that there is another boy in this school that was sent from another agency so he can help us and yeah it's a boy but I don't know who he is."

"You got yourself out of that one because you would be dead by now." And he laughed a bit. I love his laugh.

"So now what are we going to do for the rest of the day?"

"The one thing we do best. Researching. And we've got one more thing to add to the board. A green string."

"How on earth did you-"

"I'll tell you everything." I told him everything about the conversation that Edward had with someone all the way to our room. "So what about this guy you're talking about?"

"We don't know anything and so do they. He's going to show up."

"I hope so." I took out the board and switched a red string with a green one. Then i wrote on the board with the white pencil 'Suspects confirmed: Edward Jones and Robert Cabrera'

Finally they put a green string in the board. And a little fight between Liv and Andrew.
