After a long day of chasing Klee and a good nights rest Kitayuu and Bennet weren't as quick to get out of bed the same way they did the previous day. By the time both of them were awake it was already close to afternoon and Bennet's parents were already out working. Kitayuu was the first to wake up and sat down by the kitchen table waiting for Bennet and just stared into the distance.
Meanwhile back at the academy it wasn't as peaceful and calm for Raiden. For the past few days he was stuck doing chores and countless hours of service with Diluc keeping an eye on him. Raiden was stuck on lunch duty serving food for the third years.
"Aww, thank you mister you look so cute in that outfit!" One of the girls said as she walked past to get her dish filled up.
Raiden's face flared up with anger but before he could act, Diluc gave him a light slap on the back of his head. The girl feeling slightly guilty giggled and walked off.
Raiden; "tsk, when will it end! And who does that girl think she is!"
Diluc responded, "Oh we're only halfway and I wouldn't confront her if I were you besides she was only joking."
Raiden turned his face slowly and gave Diluc a dirty look.
Diluc; "For your information she's one of the top performing third year students."
Raiden turned back to serving food, a few first years that were hanging out near the area saw Raiden and immediately pointed at him laughing with no shame. Raiden stared angrily at them but could do nothing about it.
Back at Monstadt, Bennet finally woke up and found Kitayuu dozing off at the table. Bennet being Bennet decided to sneak up from behind and scare him. He slowly tip toed his way and waited 10 seconds behind his chair with his hands next to his hips. All of a sudden he poked Kitayuu's sides making him jump, "AH! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!"
Bennet fell to the ground laughing, "Sorry haha, I couldn't resist."
Kitayuu sighed and started looking out the window again, "So, what should we do today?"
Bennet got up and sat next to him thinking, "Well, remember how we met Amber the day we arrived here?"
"Yeah" Kitayuu replied.
"How about we try to get our wind gliding licenses? " Bennet looked at him rather excitedly.
Kitayuu had actually forgotten about their conversation with Amber a few days earlier, "Oh yeah, why didn't I think of that! It's pretty late so we gotta find her quickly."
Monstadt was packed when the two boys came out of the home.
Bennet; "Follow me I know where to find Amber." Bennet went straight for the stone steps and was heading to the same area the knights headquarters was located. He passed the building and headed straight towards the large statue of Barbatos that stood towering Monstadt right in front of the Cathedral. There they found Amber talking to a kid.
