The next morning everyone was almost fully recovered thanks to the expert healing conducted on them. The news of Blade spread like wildfire and knights were stationed at every corner of Monstadt. When Kitayuu woke up and walked outside he saw a few Futui diplomats speaking with Jean and some soldiers. As he watched everything going on at the same time, it could only be assumed that it was centered around the Blade incident.

Shortly after Diluc approached from behind and put a hand on Kitayuu's shoulder, "I must say I'm quite impressed with the amount of power you exerted yesterday in your fight, despite being out of control. You really had Blade worried there."

Kitayuu looked up and gave him a faint smile, "I take it that we are returning to the academy soon?" he said, not wanting to talk about his outburst.

Diluc nodded, "Some horses and carriages are waiting for us out there, the Futui will escort us back. Your friends are already waiting, so we can leave as soon as you want."

Jean had just finished her conversation with the Fatui and walked towards Diluc and Kitayuu, "No word from Saturo, but the Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon has dispatched Fatui forces across Teyvat, she never stated her intentions but we all know it is tied to yesterdays events."

Diluc; "The Fatui huh? Whenever something happens they always have to get involved"

Diluc; "The Fatui huh? Whenever something happens they always have to get involved"

Jean nods in agreement, "Tell me about it, won't be surprised if one of their eleven harbingers comes for a while to investigate, that being said, the Cryo Archon has been poking through other nations' business lately yet she is so reserved herself, even communication with the Raiden Shogun is easier than her."

The conversation reminded Kitayuu of something as he stood there thinking to himself, 'That Saturo guy mentioned about having me in the Fatui... are he and the Tsaritsa close or something?'

Kitayuu was interrupted when Diluc pat him on the back, "Welp, we better get going now, there's still your weapon license theory examination coming soon, and I don't wanna be caught between some Fatui business."

Jean giggled, "Leaving me with all the dirty work huh? Oh well have a safe trip, hope you enjoyed your stay in Monstadt Kitayuu, despite it being well... chaotic"

Kitayuu smiled, "I live for chaos!" he said jokingly, the three of them chuckled as Diluc led Kitayuu to the carriage with his friends waiting.

Bennet; "About time! How long can you sleep for."

Kitayuu; "What? Can't I enjoy a little rest?"

He sat down next to Bennet with all his friends in one big carriage; Bennet, Barbara, Noelle, and Amber. Diluc later joined them inside along with a Fatui soldier. Soon after they were set to leave concluding their journey in Monstadt.

Not many words were exchanged on the ride home as everyone was still extremely exhausted and rather shaken from the previous day's events. Amber managed to get everyone's gliding license and even a box of new wing gliders that they would be able to take with them everywhere they went.

As soon as they entered the academy grounds everyone was excited to return to their dorms to either rest or study for the upcoming exam. Upon exiting the carriage and walking through the hallway. The group encountered a rather amusing sight.

Barbara, "No freakin wa-"

Bennet, "SEE KITAYUU, I TOLD YOU RAIDEN WAS ON MAID DUTY HAHA!"

Raiden was busy dusting the floor in one of the academy's storage units with the third-year student, Hu Tao sitting on top of supply crates keeping an eye on him. Raiden looked up enraged upon hearing Bennet's sudden laughter.

Diluc; "Was he well-behaved?"

Hu Tao; "Oh yes! He's been doing all his tasks without complaining ever since you assigned me to watch him! No misbehaving either it's like he's a new person, so sweet and well manne-"

Raiden; "I'M SIMPLY TOO TIRED AND COULD NOT CARE LESS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS STUPID MAID DUTY, I'M JUST WORKING FASTER TO GET IT OVER WITH!"

Hu Tao; "Well mannered until, well... now"

Diluc, "Good news Raiden, you're dismissed after tonight."

Raiden didn't look up to acknowledge Diluc as he continued sweeping the dust, instead, he looked up and eyed Kitayuu intensely whilst he socialised with his group, sensing there had been a change in him since they last met. He was uncertain of what happened to Kitayuu during the past few days, but whatever it was, he didn't like it. Not a single bit.
