Blade also turned around with a now serious and stern look, striking fear in Kitayuu. Blade slowly walked towards him, "I must say, that power of yours sure is something."

He lifted his sword, preparing to slash Kitayuu with his blade, "But now, it all ends here"

Suddenly, a huge inferno came towards him, and Blade had no choice but to deter it with the wind. With no time to process what was going on, Blade he suddenly met his eyes with someone who emerged from the flames with a claymore. Blade held his sword immediately in front of his face but was pushed back slightly by the sheer weight of the claymore and the force behind it.

Kitayuu then fell to the ground, his vision now blurry, but before he passed out, he saw the person who had come to his rescue standing right in front of Blade in a standoff.

"D-Diluc?"

Kitayuu had blacked out, leaving his tutor to go against the tyrant before them. A few seconds later, Jean had arrived with carriages and some more knights, including the librarian that Bennet met the day before, Lisa. Both Jean and Lisa went to grab Kitayuu and his friends, getting them to safety as soon as possible, but before Jean could carry Kitayuu back she had to first use her healing to stabilise Kitayuu's condition. Once the children were brought to safety, Barbara and Noelle were waiting in the carriage.

Barbara shrieked at the state of her friends, "What on Teyvat! How could anyone do this to innocent children?"

Jean; "You two stay here with them, I'm going over to help Diluc."

Barbara immediately got to work, trying her best to heal her injured friends. Bennet and Kitayuu were unconscious whilst Amber's arm had been shattered.

Meanwhile, Diluc was facing Blade in a standoff, and the two stared intensely at each other.

Another few moments passed before Blade made the first move by launching himself with the wind and bouncing off the terrain around him at impressive speeds closing in on Diluc. Blade suddenly appeared from the right and formed a small tornado before bouncing off again and suddenly coming in from the opposite side towards Diluc with his sword, ready to strike.

Diluc quickly decided to lift his claymore and block Blade's sword attack first. Using the momentum from Blade, he swung his weapon, throwing Blade into his own attack and then leaping out of the way to get some higher ground.

However, unexpectedly, Blade managed to manipulate his own attack at the last second, causing minimal damage, and used the wind from the tornado to launch him up again towards Diluc.

"DAWN OF THE PHOENIX!" Diluc yelled as he held his claymore behind his neck with both hands, concentrating pyro into his weapon and swinging it in the air in front of him with full force.

A large flame taking the shape of a phoenix emerged from where Diluc slashed his weapon and incinerated everything in its path

A large flame taking the shape of a phoenix emerged from where Diluc slashed his weapon and incinerated everything in its path. Blade had barely managed to dodge this attack, but because of that, he had to rethink his approach due to the repositioning. Little did he know Diluc was not done yet. He reached his arm out, concentrating all his energy into his palm, tensing his whole arm up. He grunted as he swung his hand downwards past his hip with all he had, causing the enormous flaming bird to make a full 180.
