Sparkle for the first time actually had a serious expression on her face, which told Bennet and Kitayuu that this was definitely something that everyone, even the best of the best had to worry about...
"Ruin Grader huh?"
Noelle, Hikari, Ayaka and Barbara soon came from behind to join them.
Barbara; "Wow everyone's here, so you heard it too?"
Ayaka; "That thing there is no joke, by the looks of it, the size isn't the only thing it has going for it. If so, it won't really be much more effort to take down rather than some ordinary Ruin Guard."
Rappa suddenly appeared as well right beside the group, "I'm afraid we might have to temporarily put our differences aside for now"
Ayaka gave her a look, "Where's your teammate?"
"Xiao is busy with some other contestants and I assume he is really far away."
Bennet took a while to see everyone in the group, "Wow, where are the stronger students when you actually need them. Raiden and Keqing would also be quite useful here, you know."
Sparkle coughed and looked at Bennet taking slight offense to that, "Oh so you don't consider me to be worthy of being considered one of the 'stronger students' by your standards?"
Bennet screamed back at her, "What is this ego you have! Now is not the time to be discussing this!?"
Sparkle smirked slightly and closed her eyes, "Well then, since you believe that I'll be of no use against this thing, I guess I'll just sit out and watch you guys handle it on your own."
Everyone turned to Sparkle in shock, watching her slide down a tree branch into crossed legs with a calm expression, "ARE YOU CRAZY!?"
"Yes..."
Suddenly everyone found themselves right in the line of attack as the Ruin Grader started spinning its arms just like a normal Ruin Guard would.
Kitayuu; "Uh guys we gotta move now!"
Everyone jumped back into different directions and were immediately met with a massive amount of homing rockets following them through the forest.
Rappa started weaving signs with her hands which created a clone of herself that prepared to use the same move as her.
"Lightning style: High Voltage!"
Both Rappa's started blowing large amounts of electricity out their mouths which managed to get the Ruin Grader to stop spinning and use one arm to shield itself. Hikari also went on the offensive, by shooting icicle shards that managed to penetrate some parts of the machine, but not even close to tampering with its functioning.
The Ruin Grader eventually raised its other arm and swiped sideways towards Rappa, causing enough wind pressure to disperse the clone and blow her away along with some trees nearby.
Bennet and Kitayuu decided to flank from behind and run in together, preparing the same move they used back in Liyue to break the Mitachurl's shield.
"Flashing Fist of Fate!"
