Amanda and Paul are spending the weekend in Chamberg, but right now they're walking through the healing forest that Amanda promised she'd show her family. Unlike the last time, they all stayed together and didn't wander.
"And over there is where Feronia the main healer lives. The Russos and I were there again not long ago when were trying to find a cure for Paul's snake bite." Said Amanda. "Paul, you were bitten by a snake recently?" Asked Odette. "Unfortunately, I was." Said Paul. "What kind of snake?" Asked Derek. "Black mamba, one of the most venomous snakes." Paul said.
Derek and Odette cringe, then something reflects off Derek's face. "Hang on, I'll be right back." He said. "Where are you going?" Odette asked. "There's something over there, I'm gonna see what it is." Derek said. He approaches the object and picks it up before going back to the others.
"What have we here?" Asked Paul. "It's a key." Said Derek. Amanda studies the key carefully. "D... V... Dreamvale. Guys, that's it!" She said. "Huh?" Said Odette. "Look at top of the key, it's from Dreamvale! DV, see?" Amanda said. "Oh, I totally see it." Paul said.
"We better hold on to this, it might come in handy later." Said Amanda. "Rogers said we won't be able to get back in through your closet." Derek said. "How will we be able to return then?" Asked Paul. "Like the old saying, 'expect the unexpected'. Meaning it'll happen if we're not looking for it." Odette said. "Right, Rogers said that too." Amanda said.
After a few minutes, the group returns to the castle. In the nick of time too, because the weather has suddenly turned cloudy with a storm coming. The wind starts picking up and the rain begins to pour.
"We must find cover!" Paul said. He and the rest run to find some shade, but the door to the castle is blocked. "Oh great, we're done for!" Said Derek as he slapped his forehead. "This is exactly how the weather was when the Russos and I saved Margalo recently!" Said Amanda. She and the others chat as they try to find another place for cover.
"Who's Margalo?" Asked Odette. "A bird, and I'm glad you two weren't around when she was here." Amanda said. "Why?" Derek asked. "Justin. He was very overprotective of her and wouldn't let the poor thing have any fun, especially when she wanted to fly!" Said Paul. "Birds need to learn to fly at one point, doesn't he get that?" Asked Derek. "He does now." Paul said.
"Guys, look out!" Cried Amanda. A huge object comes flying at the four, and they duck before it could hit them. But just when things started to get worse, all they could do was cover up before something else could happen.
