The next few months were the best I ever had. Changbin made time for me whenever he could, and even though their comeback was right around the corner and he had to work a lot, he still took me out on dates at least once a week. I was staying at his place so much that I already had a small compartment in his closet for my clothes. The other boys seemed to like having me around as well because on my days off when I was bored, I cleaned the dorm and did the chores for them so that they could relax when they came home. I also cooked for them a lot, making Changbin extremely happy.

Now I sat on the couch with Han, playing Mario Kart on his Switch while Changbin went out to the gym. My phone buzzed and I glanced at it as soon as I crossed the finishing line. "Oh, Changbin posted a picture on Instagram!" I cheered, picking up my phone, unlocking it.

"You have the notifications on?" Han asked, amused.

"Of course. He's my boyfriend," I said, confused.

"You two are disgustingly cute," Han said, looking over my shoulder onto my phone. It was a selfie from the gym. He wore a tight muscle shirt and smiled into the camera, flexing his biceps. I smiled as I saw him wearing my favorite hair tie around his wrist. I gave it to him a few weeks ago, and it was glued to him ever since.

"That's a nice picture for once," Han said. I liked it quickly. I hated to do this, but my eyes fell to the comments. Han lost interest and was already selecting a new route for the next game, so I clicked onto the comment section. It was full of girls commenting hearts and asking him to marry them or do ungodly things that he was only allowed to do with me. I sighed and locked my phone. Why did he pick me? He could have so many girls. What if he found a nicer or a prettier one?

"Hey, you alright?" Han asked, a little concerned.

I quickly put on a smile. "Yes, I just zoned out. Let's play another round," I quickly answered, but my heart was still heavy.

Later that evening, Changbin and I went out to eat. We had become a bit less careful about hiding, and there were a few photos of us already out there, so we figured we might as well go to big restaurants now. We got a table by the window, and I looked at the menu.

"You already know what you're getting?" Changbin asked, playing footsies with me under the table.

I looked up and smiled. I had forgotten all of my worries from earlier as soon as he came home and took me into his arms, making Han gag and leave, not even disconnecting the Switch from the TV. "I was thinking about pasta," I answered him.

He smiled. "I knew that. You love pasta!" he giggled. I smiled brighter as he took my hand in his, playing with my fingers.

Suddenly, a girl walked up to our table, clearing her throat. Changbin looked up, surprised, not letting go of my hand. "Uhm, hi Changbin," she stuttered. I couldn't help but stare at her. She was beautiful. "I'm a big fan. Could you sign this?" she asked, holding out a pen and her Dwaekki phone case. Changbin smiled at her and let go of my hand to take it from her. I couldn't help but notice how his fingers brushed hers slightly as he took the phone case. Not on purpose—things like this happen when you take things from people—but it made me feel uneasy. My smile vanished without me even noticing.

A few more girls came to our table, one prettier than the next. Changbin stood up to chat with them, giving out autographs. They weren't even acknowledging me. "Can your staff take a picture of us?" one of the girls asked, glancing at me.

"Oh, sorry, I'm not allowed to take pictures," Changbin said and started explaining why. I felt my lips shake. Staff? And he didn't correct them. I didn't want to be jealous, but the way he laughed with them made me go crazy. Again I started worrying. What if he finds one of them prettier? I mean, he couldn't even correct them when they called me his staff.

Soon, the girls vanished one by one and he sat down again. "They were so nice," he said happily, but his face fell when he looked at me. He took my hand in his. "Hey, what's wrong?" he asked, worried.

"Nothing," I mumbled, again putting on a smile. I didn't want to bother him with my nonsense. In the end, he would think I was annoying or something. He looked at me, unsure.

"It's fine. I just had a bad day," I reassured him.

"Why?" he asked, gently rubbing his thumb over the back of my hand.

"I lost in Mario Kart and I was missing you a lot," I said.

He smiled again. "I missed you too."
