He knew he was dreaming, he always knew that. Maybe it was his species, maybe it was his talent, maybe he was just lucky. But he couldn't control this dream. He sighed and sat up. He was sitting on a meadow, a cliché. "Great time for a- What the hell?" The sky, which had just been blue, turned red. It seemed as if the sky was burning. "What kind of fever dream is that?" he murmured, pushing his long hair back. This wasn't a dream, maybe a vision? "Aaegaon." His limbs stiffened. He hadn't heard that voice for centuries... He jumped up, turned around and almost stumbled to the ground. "Aaravos! You are..." "Alive? Did you doubt it? Me?" The younger elf fell to his knees and began to shake his head wildly. "Of course not! Why can't I find you? No magic can track you down." His brother's shadow loomed over him. "Why can't you fully manifest yourself?" Aaegaon asked worried, that wasn't a good sign. "My power was sealed with me in my prison. As long as I'm in this prison, a large part of my magic will stay here. However, I've already found a vessel, so don't worry. Avizandum only made an exception." If his magic was so weak that he couldn't even fully manifest himself, but only his shadow, he had a real problem. "I can't hold this form for long. I just want to know something." "Of course!" The shadow bent down slightly. "Who freed you?" "Why did you lock me up?" He retorted, narrowing his eyes. His poisonous green eyes shone like two emeralds. "Do you really think I would do something to harm you? Me? You disappoint me, Aaegaon." The younger one opened his eyes wide. "What? Never! It was the princes of Katholis and a Moonshadow assassin. Hasso did the rest." The shadow gently placed his hand on the elf's forehead. "Prohibeo vos uti magicis ad sanandos liberatores vestros." Aaegaon opened his eyes wide and rolled back. But it was too late. He felt his magic being restricted. "Why did you do that?!" he screamed and looked at his hands. "You'll understand - AAEGAON WAKE UP!"

The elf jumped up and grabbed his throat, breathing heavily. "Aaegaon! Callum woke up! I need your help!" Aaegaon forgot for a moment how to breathe, but then caught a clear thought. "For the stars sake..." he sighed and ran quickly to the two of them. "Rayla! You can't let him lay down. He could suffocate! His body had a shock like reaction because of the dark magic. Like I said: It's like poisen." "Why didn't I stopped him?" The startouch elf sighed and shook his head. "He's old enough to decide for himself what he wants to do. You're an assassin too, aren't you, or am I mistaken?" he growled, making Callum cough. Before Rayla could venom back, the prince gasped in shock and opened his eyes. Aaegaon took a step back. He would leave the two lovebirds alone for a while. As he was about to stroll back to his things, he heard something that made him turn around abruptly. "I have it. I understand the sky arcanum"

"You are a human. The only source of magic you can access is dark magic! My brother has tried so many times to teach people the arcanums, but it never worked! Why should it be you-?" "Aaegaon! Let him speak, you act like a little child! What do you mean Callum?" Aaegaon clenched his hands into fists. How dare this little girl?! She called him, the weaver of the future, chaos and the past, a small child? Was that girl suicidal? "It's not one simple thing. It's all the things. They just had to... come together, you know? It's like, I used to hold the power of the sky in my hand, right? But now that's gone, you both have to understand. The whole world is like a giant primal stone, we're indide of it!" The Archmage looked at the two in amazement. Which berry was it on? "I'm inside sky magic" Alright that sounded wrong. "But it's also in me, with every breath I take." He started to breathe demonstratively. Aaegaon wiped his face. Surrounded only by crazy people. "That kind of makes sense!" Aaegaon looked at her puzzled. What the hell? "Aaegaon! You have to feel it too! You just have to!" Aaegon shook his head in dismay. "I think you're still a bit confused, you should sit down again." Disappointed, Callum turned to the edge of the cave, which would lead directly to death. "Callum! Don't do something stupid, I won't heal you," he shouted and stood next to Rayla. He could hardly see anything, as Callum had his back to the two elves, but he could see that he was drawing the Aspiro rune. "Callum- How is that possible?" A gentle wave of magic hit him and he put his hands over his mouth in surprise. "Aspiro!" And it actually worked. "Ezran, you're back!" Rayla turned away and ran to the little king and his guard. Only Aaegaon stood there as if petrified. That violated all the rules of magic, even all the rules of the world. He accidentally almost blew Ezran and Corvus over when he turned his head towards them. Zym was also quite happy about the king's return because he literally knocked him over. "Callum, you figured it out? You can do magic again!" "That's incredible, Prince Callum." "Yes it is." The elf joined Corvus, who stepped back in shock. "Who is that?" asked Callum, referring to the tracker. "You've missed a lot. That is Corvus, he is a our friend now." "I've always been on the same side. Well....Maxbe not on the same side as your friend there. He seems to have his own side." "You are a pretty cheeky person," Aaegaon stated and looked at him unimpressed. "However: I serve the young king." Callum frowned. "What?" Embarrassed, Ezran looked away. "I know about Dad." Callum knelt down next to his little brother. "I...I don't know what to say. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you." Ezran looked at him with his big blue eyes. Tears gathered in his eyes and he jumped into his brother's arms. Aaegaon sighed silently and cast a neutral look at Corvus. What was the best way to get rid of him?
