The night is particularly dark tonight and there is fog everywhere. I pull the gun into the darkness outside the fence, as the only thing we can see are two small flares. The figures approach slowly and I recognise Clarke between two grounders. "Hold your fire. She's back." The gate slowly opens and she runs in. When Finn sees her, he immediately runs to her. "Are you okay?" "Shut the gate."

The gate is closed again and she immediately takes him away from the gate while the two Grounders remain on their horses in front of the gate. "You can't be out here." I lower my gun and run after them. Abby immediately throws her arms around Clarke's neck and she doesn't look happy. Everyone gathers round and listens. "What did she say? Is there a chance for a truce?"

Clarke looks at her mum and nods. "Yes." "What's wrong?" Finn isn't the only one to realise that something is clearly wrong. "They want you. If we want a truce, we have to give them Finn." The people around us start talking and whispering as Raven looks at Clarke. "What the hell are you talking about?" "That's their offer." "Thats not an offer. It's a punishment."

"For what happend at the village. Blood for blood." I look at Finn. "That's insane." Abby hears the humans trying to hand Finn over to the Grounders. "If we refuse..." "They attack." Everyone gets louder and surrounds us more and more. They grab Finn and Raven defends him. "Raven, nothings gonna happen to him. I promise." She looks at Clarke and nods. But the people don't let up and chaos ensues.

After everyone has calmed down, we go to Finn, who is sitting next to Murphy at the edge of the camp. "We're reinforcing our defences. Doubles on the perimeter." Finn stands up. "I'll see where they're thin." "Yiu should head inside. B Corridor would be easier to defend, if it cames to that." "Im not gonna hide." Clarke intervenes. "Right now, we have to think about keeping you safe. I'm going to talk to Lincoln." "Come on, Finn." He looks at Clarke again and then follows me inside.

Abby Griffon tells the two Grounders at the entrance that we're not handing Finn over and they leave. By now it's light and warm. "Don't shoot." Our eyes fixate on the person coming out of the woods. Marcus Kane. "You can't be out the open. We need to get somewhere safe." Together with Clarke, I walk towards the two of them.

"It's safe for the moment. Come on, we need to talk. I managed to buy us a bit of time."

For Finn's safety, we have taken him to our old camp in the drop-ship. Together with Raven, Clarke and Murphy, we try to protect him from the Grounders who are gathering in front of the drop-ship, but Finn turns himself in and is taken away by the Grounders before we can do anything

Back at camp, the Grounders set up a big stage for us to watch what they do to Finn. My gaze wanders to Clarke, who looks at me and signals for me to follow her. "Take this." She presses her gun into my hand. "What are you doing?" "I'm gonna talk to the commander." "What else do you have to say?" "I dont know."

"Give me your hand." We turn round at the same time and Raven is standing behind us. She carefully sticks a knife up Clarke's sleeve. "If she wont let him go, kill her. Things will go crazy and then we'll gran you and Finn. Clarke. You have to help. I own him my life." Clarke nods and leaves the camp

She walks past all the Grounders and it goes on for a while until the Commander comes out and seems to be talking to her. We watch from above and see them bring Finn in and tie him to the post. They are still talking and my tension is rising.

Suddenly she runs to Finn and kisses him. The two look at each other and embrace. When she pulls away from him, he is hanging dead from the post. Clarke has killed him. "No! No!" My eyes fall on Raven, who is crying and screaming. I feel sorry for her and I take her in my arms and gently stroke her head. The pain in her voice...
