Aegon Targaryen, the youngest child of Baelon and Alyssa Targaryen, was born in the year 94 AC. His birth was bittersweet, as his mother, Alyssa, passed away during childbirth. The infant prince was thus cradled in sorrow as his mother was laid to eternal rest.

Despite the tragedy of his birth, Aegon grew to be a serene child. His quiet demeanor was often the talk of the Red Keep; he seldom engaged with many, preferring the solace of solitude. Nonetheless, Aegon frequently sought the company of his grandfather, Jaehaerys. In the elder's chamber, the young prince would spend hours, either engrossed in books or listening intently to the stories his grandfather shared, finding comfort and wisdom in the old king's words.

It was like the older king came to live every time he saw his grandson, and the two even often shared a ride on Vermithor the Bronze Fury. The laughter that left the young boys lips was something that not many times was heard, but most of the times it was followed up by the laughter of the King.

Viserys held a deep affection for his youngest sibling, while Daemon initially struggled, partly blaming Aegon for their mother's death. However, with time, Daemon's resentment faded, and the brothers were often seen sparring together in the courtyard.

Life seemed to proceed smoothly for a time, despite some family losses. Aegon devoted his days to reading, practicing combat, and spending time with his grandfather. Yet, as Aegon matured, the King aged, and in 101 AC, the death of his father Baelon marked a somber turn. The King, having outlived all but two of his children, was left with one child exiled in Essos and the other, Vaegon, committed to the Citadel.

What will happen when a new heir is named? Will it change the story we know of the House of The Dragon?

What place will Aegon take in the times to come?

Vote and Comment! This is for the future but who knows when the first chapter will be put up :P

Also this means Alyssa lived longer than she did in the books, and tbh she and Baelon had a child named Aegon but this if well from the Wiki.

In 83 ac , Alyssa was announced to be pregnant again. She gave birth the next year, to another son, . The labor was long and difficult and Alyssa never fully recovered from the childbirth. She died within a year, at the age of twenty-four. Aegon died half a year later, not yet even a year old. Alyssa's death shattered Baelon.
