chapter sixteen

Jung Jaehyun, 26 years old, dominant omega the only son from a wealthy family in Manchester, USA. He was arranged to marry a dominant alpha, Johnny Suh, as soon as he turned 18 years old. The heir of a big legacy from Chicago. The marriage was decided to unite two big businesses  planning to be the biggest business in the world.

Jaehyun was raised with a mission to give as much as offspring to the Jung family. He always thought of his worth as of how well he took care of his marriage, and how many children he could bear. Growing up, every omega in his family goes through the same situation. Jaehyun had never complained.

For his whole life, 26 years old of living – he wanted to be the best omega his family wanted him to be. It's not even hard and honestly, that's what Jaehyun wanted with his life. That was his dream life; to be a caretaker for his family. Serving his family. Having his own family. Living in a nice house with his family. Live happily ever after. It's a very simple dream.

Married to a nice man like Johnny, Jaehyun couldn't even complain. A handsome, soft-spoken, understanding and loving man like Johnny – his cousins could only dream of being arranged to marry a perfect alpha that respect them as a human being and not just tools to bear babies.

Jaehyun is lucky. He never suffered a single second of his life that's why he wanted to keep his happiness. He wanted to live with Johnny, have babies with Johnny and live happily ever after with Johnny. As simple as that.

Well... Cinderella lives happily ever after without love. With a man she saw once; few minutes before midnight.

Jaehyun... loves Johnny in his own way. It's not completely a loveless marriage.

Cinderella... she suffered a lot but she fought for her happiness. With kindness. She has a fairy mother that blesses her with magic. Helping her when things get hard and unbearable.

But honestly, Jaehyun is not a bad person. He is just taking care of what's his. He is protecting what is meant to be his.

He was married to Johnny! By law he owns Johnny.

So what was the reason for Ryeowook existence? He is also married, to Kyuhyun. Why is he in the middle of Jaehyun's story? Why is Johnny listening to a man he never even laid his eyes on? Why?

Cinderella's step-sister tried to steal her man. Even cutting their feet to fit in the story, but in the end, Cinderella wins because it's her story. She is the main character. She will live happily ever after. It's what was written for her. She saw the prince charming first!

Jaehyun is the man character! Jaehyun saw Johnny first! Jaehyun will win! Jaehyun will live happily ever after!

"No.. h... elp..."

"DIE!!"

Taeil grimaces, and the words play like an alarm waking him from deep sleep – he takes a deep breath. The same voice repeats constantly in Jaehyun's head.

Jaehyun jolted awake, gasping for breath. His eyes, wide and wild, darted around the dimly lit room. Beside him on the bed, Taeil lay silently, his brow furrowed with a concern, eyes fixed on Jaehyun.

"Good morning," Taeil greeted softly, a gentle smile on his face, choosing not to ask what happened. What was the commotion playing in Jaehyun's head whenever he lost himself in a deep sleep? It quite bothering how much the word repeated in Jaehyun's thoughts.
