Freen POV
We arrived at the hotel at 9 am. As we entered, I was met with Heng's angry stares. I knew he wanted to scold me, but he wouldn't do so in front of others.
"Where were you all this time? We searched the entire hotel and discovered you never came back last night" Heng said, as he scanning me from top to bottom. Fortunately, I was dressed in fully covered clothes, so he wouldn't be able to spot any injuries on me.
"I wanted to have a drink after the party, so Becky and I went to a restaurant to continue drinking. Eventually, I got tired, so I booked us a nearby room and we stayed the night there" I lied.
"Hmm... You look a bit pale and tired. Which hotel was it? You shouldn't wander off alone, Freen" Heng said, coming closer and peering into my eyes.
"I wasn't alone, Becky was with me the whole time" I reassured him with a smile.
He gently cupped my face with one hand. "You have dark circles under your eyes. I'll take care of everything today; you need to rest" he said, stepping back.
"I will do as you say," I smiled to please him.
"Thank you, Miss Rebecca, for taking care of Freen. However, next time please make sure that you inform someone here whenever you take her anywhere alone. We were concerned about Freen for valid reasons, especially after she was followed by vampires yesterday. Today, with Freen missing, it raised some doubts. To avoid misunderstandings in the future, please be mindful of our concerns" Heng said to Becky.
"I apologize, Alpha Heng. I should have informed someone before taking Freen out alone. I understand your point, and I won't let it happen again" Becky replied earnestly.
"Thank you for understanding, Miss Rebecca" Heng acknowledged.
"Let's go upstairs now" Heng said, turning to me. I nodded in agreement, and we headed towards the elevator, with Becky following closely behind.
We got in the elevator, Becky stood behind me. I can feel her eyes piercing me from behind, I think she is not happy with us lying.
The elevator stopped on Saint's floor, but no one exited.
Heng cleared his throat.
"Are we waiting for someone?" I finally asked Heng.
"No," Heng said firmly, pulling me closer to him. "Miss Rebecca, won't you to go to your room? Miss Yuki was stressing about you." Heng says.
He positioned me so that Becky could step out of the elevator. Glancing at Becky, I sensed her discontent, she clearly wanted to accompany me and even I don't want to be away from her.
"She was staying in my apartment with me." I said to Heng. "Sorry for taking you out last night, your family must be concerned about your sudden disappearance. You should go and inform Yuki and your family that you are back. I will see you soon" I said to Becky. I asked Becky to leave so that me and Heng can talk in private and I can convince him to leave soon, so that I get to spend some time with Becky.
"Aaaa...umm... okay. No need to apologise, Alpha Freen. I will see you upstairs in sometime." Becky excused herself and left the lift. She turned back and I gave her a wink before the lift doors closed.
We reached the top floor and we went to my room.

"When did you started drinking again?" Heng asks.
"I just felt like drinking yesterday, there's no specific reason".
"You can tell me if anything's worrying you, I am always there for you and together we can solve any problem." Heng makes me sit on the couch.
