"What a cringe comic!" I whispered to myself after throwing the comic book away.

DO AS YOUR MATE SAY TO WIN THEM? What does this even mean, who wrote this book!

I will have to find the writer because this book is useless and have wrong information about werewolves. As a werewolf, I couldn't stand the idea of being portrayed as a subservient being controlled by my mate. We were strong, independent creatures, and this misrepresentation infuriated me.

Next morning....

I woke up on time, today instead of pretending as human, I will talk to Rebecca about our bond. By observing her, I didn't got any clue that whether we are mates or not. Now the best thing to do is to talk directly to her.

I took the public bus, pretending as Sam.

I reached the office, I can tell that Rebecca is not here.

"Maybe she is still busy with her horny slaves!" I said in my mind.

It's about the lunch time now, the HR department have a meeting after lunch.

Nop is the meeting organizer, he is very nervous and exciting as this is his first time.

"Do I look nervous?" He asked while turning towards me.

I smiled at him replying "You look perfect, but your necktie is crooked!" I joked while winking at him.

He looks so flustered now, maybe I shouldn't have joked.

"Come here, I will fix it for you" I stood up and started fixing his necktie.

As I stood there fixing Nop's crooked necktie, I caught a whiff of Becky's familiar scent approaching near. My senses heightened, and I knew that she must be very close. It seemed like she was about to enter the HR office any moment now.

I wiped off Nop's sweat with tissue "You will be fine".

I fixed the necktie, and I was helping him fixing his shirt collar.

Out of nowhere, something hit my hand. I can tell that this thing was thrown with full force, and this force was a vampire's full force not normal human one.

I was shocked and angry that who dared to do this, as I looked behind Nop, I see Rebecca standing there in anger.

This good for nothing mate of mine would have hurt a human very badly if this file wouldn't have hit me.

As usual she is a good for nothing, she shouts at us and Nam stating that we are breaking the office decorum. I don't understand this that being a vampire, how could she didn't hear that what me and Nop were doing? Is she stupid or just a weak vampire.

"Why did you appear in front of me on that night? This stupid bond always pulls me towards you" I said in my mind.

"YOU SHOULD ASK THEM! IT'S YOUR DEPARTMENT RIGHT!" she shouted at Nam, at her own friend. Vampires are really very cold creatures, they don't care about anyone except themselves.

Nop tried to explain her, I can see he is nervous and scared, poor human. Rebecca cut him off "No! I want her to speak!" pointing at me.

This girl is very disrespectful towards her friends and employees. I roll off my eyes feeling disgusted to have bond with a person like her.

I decided to keep my cool and not let my cover blown that I am not Sam, I walked over to Nam without making any eye contact with Rebecca "Nam, I cannot stay here where I am insulted like this in front of my entire team!".
