A year later....

BECKY POV

"I will leave in an hour" I replied.

"Let me help you!" Anita walked towards me and started massaging my shoulder.

"Not now Anita. Please leave" I removed her hand and continued concentrating on the budget file of Diversity pop's new project.

"Becbec.... Please, let me help you" Anita kisses me on the cheek.

DISGUSTING!

I hate it when she behaves like a clingy girlfriend. Why can't she just let me finish off my work!

"I need some space Anita. Please leave now." I said without looking at her.

"Don't be angry Becbec" Anita hugged me from back.

"I hope you haven't forgotten that today we are going to your family's house to discuss our engagement date" I completely forgot about this.

"I cannot go alone there Becbec" Anita kissed me on the head.

I closed my file and stood up to keep it back on the shelf "Let's go now".

I wore back my heels and grabbed my car keys to leave for the Armstrong mansion.

I haven't been living in the Armstrong mansion for the last six months. I moved out of the Armstrong mansion with the excuse of that I want to experience living in an apartment. My family was hesitant, but they gave in to my demands.

The reason why I left my family house is because they always force me to be lovey-dovey with Anita. I have already cleared this with Anita that I am never gonna fall in love with her or anyone because I don't believe in love anymore. I see her only as a close friend, with whom.... I may sleep sometimes. Richie made me understand that this kind of relationship is not right, so I accepted Anita as my girlfriend when she proposed to me. Anita knows that I will never love anyone ever again, but my family doesn't know anything, including Yuki and Nam. I have been pushing away the topic of engagement for months now, I cannot push this topic anymore, so I have agreed to get engaged with Anita. We are already together every day and she never leaves my side.... unlike that werewolf. The term fiancee won't bring any change in our relationship.

I left my house thinking that everyone will stop teasing and shipping me with Anita and I will get some much needed free time from Anita, but to my disappointment, Anita moved in with me in my apartment and my family forced me to say yes for engagement with her. I am planning to move back to my home from the apartment next month.

I drove us to the Armstrong mansion. On reaching inside the mansion, we saw several cars in the driveway.

"Why so many people are here now?" I asked looking at Anita in frustration as I hope that it's not any surprise engagement or something.

"What? Even I don't know what is happening" Anita replied.

"Let's go in then" I said and we came out of my car. We went inside the house and everyone stopped talking when they saw us coming. All I can hear is my crying mother.

"Mom! What's wrong?" I asked my mother.

"Becky! It's Richie! He went to France this week for business, but we aren't able to contact him from last 2 days. He is... he is kidnapped by those werewolves!" I held my mother in my arms.

"Breathe mom.... Breathe.... We will get him back, they will be starting a war if they hurt him".

"Mrs Armstrong, we are all with you. We won't let anything happen to Richie" Anita said.
