Surprises - I

Freen POV

Door bell rings....

"Good morning Freen! Boss sent me here to bring Bonbon to the day care"

"Good morning Nam! Boss who? Becky?"

"Yeah, who else! Hahaha" Nam chuckles.

"Yeah! Boss Becky!" I said sarcastically.

"Please come in and have some tea before leaving".

"Sure Sam!" Nam came inside my condo and I seated her on the couch.

I started preparing tea for her. I saw her scanning by condo, deciding whether I am good person or a threat to them.

"Do you like my condo?" I asked her with fake smile.

"Yeah.... It's beautiful." She said without making any eye contact. I hate people stepping over my boundaries and she is now really getting on my nerves. She won't stop scanning my house.

THESE VAMPIRES HAVE NO ETIQUETTE! BLOODY DISRESPECTFUL!

I served her tea with some cookies. "So what do you think?" I asked smiling her.

She is surprised "About what?"

"About my condo, I saw you looking at it's every little detail. What's your analysis now?" I explained.

"Ohh! Sam! You are embarrassing me now! You house is as beautiful as you!" She said winking at me.

I am weirded out by her behaviour.

After Nam finished her tea, she left my house with Bonbon. She offered to drop me off to office but I said no lying that I have some house work to complete, but in reality I want to stay away from her as she is acting suspicious of me.

"I have to be more alert around her".

I reached office on time by taking public bus. I can feel that Becky is already inside her office, today she is earlier in office than that of her usual time.

As I entered the office building my phone rang.

[ Phone call ]

Becky (excitedly): I need you in my office babe!

Freen: Yes sure, I will just settle my things on my desk and will come to you.

Becky (frustration): Argghh! No! Don't take lift, take stairs.

Freen: What?! Why? Becky.... The lift is here I will reach faster to you by lift.

Becky (frustration): SAM!

Freen: WHAT!

[ Phone call ends ]

I was about to enter inside the lift when someone tapped on my shoulder and pulled me towards building stairs.

"Becky what are you doing?" I asked in confusion.

"Ahh! I wanted to surprise you Babe!" She said and took something out of her pocket.

"What's this?"

"Close your eyes first"

She held out a box in front of me, I don't know what it have but with my super-powers I am getting a faint scent of wolfsbane. I think she have wolfsbane in this box, but why?

"No I don't want to close my eyes" I replied.

"Please babe...." She said making an innocent face and pouting out her lips.
