Sunghoon jogged towards the office building, his hoodie pulled down, covering his blonde hair and as much of his face as possible. He really didn't want to interact with anybody. He was somewhat proud of his image to be unattainable and was more than willing to leave it this way.

He didn't need other people, he was good on his own.

The alpha reached the office building and pushed the doors open, making his way over to the service desk.

The elderly lady behind the counter looked up and smiled. She was a beta, as were all of the workers here.

"Hello, there. What can I do for you?"

Sunghoon pulled down his hoodie out of politeness and bowed down in greeting.

"Hello, Miss. I'm Park Sunghoon and I live in House 1, Room 413. I always had the room for myself, but now I got a roommate - and he's a beta at that! I think there was a mistake."

He saw her face fall when she realized what this was about.

"Oh, my dear, yes! I'm sorry, but we can't change anything, all the dorms are full, every single bed is taken. Your roommate also came by earlier and asked if we could change anything, but we can't. Unless one of you two moves off campus, you have to share a room, I'm afraid."

Oh, so Sunoo indeed came by. Sunghoon was pleasantly surprised, but also disappointed at the same time.

"Are you sure there's no other option?"

The lady looked really apologetic while shaking her head.

"I'm afraid no."

Sunghoon huffed out an annoyed breath.

That moment the entrance door opened and Sunghoon smelled the scent of an alpha. Both he and the worker looked towards the door, where a tall man entered.

He nodded towards the lady and then his eyes fell on Sunghoon. Only then Sunghoon recognized him.

"Park Sunghoon, hello! Is there anything I can help you with?"

It was the dean of their faculty, Kang Haneul, and also a close friend of his father. Sunghoon didn't like him, he was sleazy and bribable and would do anything Sunghoon's father demanded of him.

"He got a roommate and is not happy with it. Unfortunately we don't have any other rooms available."

The lady explained calmly.

"What do you mean, he got a roommate? That can't be! Sunghoon has a room for himself! No roommates!!!"

Kang Haneul practically roared, making everyone in the office flinch, especially the front desk lady.

Sunghoon felt a little sorry for her.

"S-sir, we talked about this last week at the meeting. There was a mistake in accepting students to the dorms and you said to use every available bed and-"

"What do you mean I said that??? I didn't mean to give Park Sunghoon a roommate when it's clearly set that he gets his own room!!"

The woman immediately closed her mouth, her eyes going wide in fear, as if she personally had made the mistake of assigning a roommate to Sunghoon.

The dean shook his head.

"No, the roommate has to leave. He needs to move out."

"B-but sir...there are no rooms available. He already paid for the semester."
She tried to explain, her voice merely above a whisper now.
