Chapter 6

Sunghoon saw Sunoo falling and he quickly sprang forward to catch him.

While he was still processing what had just happened and how the beta had landed in his arms, he heard a gagging sound and then something wet came down his pants and onto his shoes. He widened his eyes in horror, mirroring the faces of the others around him.

"Oh fuck, fuck, fuck!"

"No!!! Sunoo!!"

Niki and Jungwon quickly pulled the beta off from Sunghoon. The foxy eyes were looking at him with no recognition or remorse, it was clear that Sunoo was out of his mind and didn't even get what had just happened. He was wasted beyond comparison and needed to go to bed.

Sunghoon felt his protective instinct kick in and reached out to help the other two stabilize the beta. Sunoo wasn't even able to stand properly anymore.

"I'm taking him home."

All heads whipped towards him, everyone looking just as surprised as Sunghoon felt.

Not everyone agreed, though, as Niki started to object.

"No need, we can-"

"Naaah, let Sunghoon take him back," Jay interrupted while giving Sunghoon a winning smile. Sunghoon rolled his eyes. He already knew he wouldn't hear the end of this for months to come.

Then Jay turned to the others and gave Niki and Heeseung warning looks.

"He's his roommate after all. Who else should get him home? Besides, we don't have extra beds."

"He can always share a bed with me," Niki spoke, tightening his hold on Sunoo.

"No, Jay-hyung is right," Jungwoon intervened, "Sunoo has got a room and if Sunghoon-hyung won't take him there, one of us has to. But I'm sure Sunghoon-hyung will make sure that he arrives safely and sleeps off the alcohol."

Sunghoon didn't miss the warning look the omega gave him. He decided at that moment that he liked Jungwon. It was clear that despite his subgender and the society's laws, he wasn't afraid to rip Sunghoon into pieces if he treated his friend wrongly.

The alpha nodded.

"Yes. Let me just get some of the vomit off and give him some water. I'll be back in a second to take him home."

Without further ado the blonde went to one of the bathrooms quickly, taking a towel and some water to clean his clothes. He heard the door behind him open, but didn't bother to look up. The person stopped moving and that seemed suspicious, so Sunghoon took a peek after all.

It was Heeseung. He was leaning against one of the sinks with his arms crossed.

Sunghoon ignored him and continued the cleaning.

After he had finished, Heeseung was still standing there, regarding him with a scrutinizing stare. Sunghoon brushed him off and made his way towards the door.

"I hope you don't do anything stupid."

Sunghoon halted and turned his head.

"What? What do you mean?"

"Well, you know, alphas have certain instincts and some don't care if the other person wants something or not. Especially when they're intoxicated-"

Sunghoon saw red. He sprang forward, grabbed the other alpha and slammed him into the wall, holding him in place with an arm against his neck.

He saw red flame up in Heeseung's eyes, probably mirroring his own.

"What the fuck!?"

Heeseung choked.
