Chapter 4

"So, you're telling me that he stepped in between you and the door and asked you to stay?!"

Jungwon looked just as baffled when he said this as Sunoo felt.

"Seriously, what kind of drama is that?"

Sunoo shrugged, he was still confused. But at least he had a room again. He had accepted Sunghoon's offer, even though the alpha had not shown him his best side so far. But once again, something had intrigued him as the alpha had stood before him.

"And that even though he doesn't know that you're an o-"

Sunoo's hand shot up and covered Niki's mouth before the beta could finish the sentence. Jungwon choked on his milkshake and hissed at the younger.

Niki quickly raised his hands in defense and Sunoo pulled back his hand, only to pat Jungwon on his back in order to help him recover from the choking.

"I'm sorry, hyung!"

Niki apologized and pouted. Sunoo just gave him a soft smile, he could never be mad for too long at him anyway.

"It's okay, Niki. There's not many people around here, so I'm sure no one has heard."

They were sitting at one of the coffee shops that was located between the two campuses - the one for the alphas and betas, and the one for the omegas. The coffee shops and restaurants were mostly frequented on the weekends, when the students from both grounds met up to flirt, date or simply meet friends. During the week the shops were mostly empty and therefore a safe place for the three childhood friends to meet.

Sunoo took a sip of his mint choc milkshake and sighed. He was exhausted.

The past week had really taken a toll on him. Finally, the exhaustion had fallen off of him last night when Sunghoon had stopped him from leaving the room.

At first Sunoo had thought about giving him a hard time, but his body and mind had been so drained that he had only given him a stern look before accepting the offer immediately. However, he had told him to make sure that the office was informed as well and that he would only move back in fully when the office called him and confirmed the situation.

It was now Friday 2 PM and he was still waiting for the call.

"You're chewing on your straw."

Jungwon gave him a worried look as he said that.

"If that asshole didn't go to the office, I swear to God, I-" Niki started, but was stopped by a look from Sunoo. He really didn't like it when Niki cursed.

The younger rolled his eyes and looked away, nibbling on his own straw now.

"Are you sure he won't find out?"

Jungwon gave him another concerned look, ignoring the youngest completely.

Sunoo shrugged.

"Honestly, I don't know. But we talked about that already. It's the only way, Woni. I just make sure to take my medication and have you on speed dial, so I call you or Niki if anything happens. It will work out!"

"But what about your... you know... your THING."

Sunoo raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"The THING that you and I go through every three months..."

Jungwon had lowered his voice so that no one could hear him but Sunoo and Niki.

Sunoo saw Niki's eyes become wide and a blush appear on his cheeks as he turned away even more from them than before. Then it clicked for Sunoo.
