After breakfast, Jax has to rush off to the club for some business, while Giselle, after getting ready, heads over to Jax's house to help Gemma prepare for little Abel's welcome home party.

Gemma's busy hanging up a banner, while Giselle is finishing up the other room. Everything's going smoothly until the door opens.

Curious, Giselle goes to see who it is, and when she sees the person standing there, she's surprised. "What are you doing here?" she blurts out without thinking "And who the hell are you?" the other woman snaps back.

"I invited her," Gemma says as she climbs down from the chair and walks over to Giselle, who still looks confused.

"What's Wendy doing here? I thought you hated her," Giselle whispers, glancing over at the woman standing in the doorway.

"She's Abel's mother," Gemma replies. Giselle raises an eyebrow like she's saying, 'you've got to be kidding me,' before Gemma rolls her eyes "And Jax asked me to be nice to her and give her a chance."

Giselle sighs, feeling a little pang in her chest. If Jax asked his mom to give that woman a chance, is he thinking about doing the same? Giselle wonders.

"I have to admit, Jax has always had a certain charm with women... Wendy married him in a heartbeat, and you know, the doctor always had him wrapped around her finger. But, well, who could blame them? It's hard to resist a man who makes every woman feel like she's the only one," Gemma says, throwing Giselle a knowing look.

"Stop it," Giselle mutters through gritted teeth, trying to ignore Gemma's words as she goes back to finishing the party preparations.

Gemma climbs back onto the chair, pleased to have gotten a reaction out of her. "And who was she?" Wendy asks, helping Gemma with the banner "That's Giselle Telford, Chibs' daughter."

"I didn't know he had a daughter," Wendy replies, surprised.

Gemma gives her a brief look. "You're here for Abel's party, don't think you've got a second chance with my son," she says bluntly. Wendy looks a bit taken aback but then scoffs "That doctor doesn't scare me."

Gemma chuckles, shaking her head. "I'm not talking about the doctor, I'm talking about the girl in the other room." Wendy looks even more surprised "And trust me, she's not someone to mess with," Gemma finishes as she steps down from the chair.

Gemma knows that even though Giselle and her son aren't together now, they're bound to be someday. She knows her son too well, and she's getting to know that girl too. And nothing and no one will stop her from doing whatever it takes to wake those two up and get them together.

The women have finally finished getting the house ready for the party. While Gemma heads out to run some errands, Giselle decides to go back home and unwind before the big event.
