Bobby's wound isn't too serious, but it's definitely going to leave one hell of a scar on his shoulder.
Giselle presses a cloth over the bullet hole, trying to slow the bleeding "Is it all right?" Bobby asks, his voice steady despite the situation. She chuckles, shaking her head. "Well, big guy, you're lucky—it went straight through." Bobby lets out a short laugh, which quickly turns into a grimace of pain. "Hold still," she scolds him lightly, keeping her focus on cleaning the wound.
"Aw, Jesus Christ," a voice grumbles from the doorway. Giselle looks up to see Jax walking in, clearly not in the best mood. "Mayans," Tig announces as he follows, his tone dripping with irritation "They hit our little Niner delivery."
Jax strides closer, his eyes flicking to Bobby. "How's he doing?" Giselle gives him a small, reassuring smile "He'll live, don't worry." Jax nods, leaning down to plant a quick kiss on her cheek.
"You good, bro?" he asks Bobby, who gives him a silent nod in return.
"Any idea how the Mayans found out?" Giselle asks casually, not taking her eyes off the wound she's tending to. "No, we don't," Clay replies, his gravelly voice tinged with irritation—probably not thrilled about her chiming in. Giselle doesn't seem to care.
Half-Sack pipes up, "They got away with two cases of the AKs."
Jax's attention shifts toward his mom as she enters the room. Giselle keeps working but watches them out of the corner of her eye, ready to step in if Gemma needs a hand answering any tough questions.
"Jax, in here," Clay barks from another room, his tone leaving no room for argument. With a glance toward Giselle, Jax heads off to the meeting room.
The girl keeps at it, muttering under her breath, "Would you please stop bleeding already?" She throws the comment out there, half-joking, trying to lighten the mood. It works—Bobby and a few others crack a smile. "Blame my thickness," Bobby jokes, trying to keep the atmosphere light despite his pain. Giselle snorts, "It's called fat, Bobby."
"You're mean," Bobby murmurs, but there's a flicker of amusement in his eyes. Giselle grins, her spirits lifting as she feels a kiss on her temple. Her dad's silent gesture of appreciation doesn't go unnoticed. She knows they all need these small moments of levity, now more than ever.

It's been three weeks since that night. Three weeks of nothing new happening.
Giselle's still waiting for updates on that people. The club's been calm for now, Gemma's keeping her distance as usual, and Weston? Well, he's still tailing her now and then, trying to figure her out and plotting his next move.
But things between Jax and Giselle? They couldn't be better. Every day they spend together, they grow closer.
Today, Jax decided to take her out to the countryside, away from all the chaos, just the two of them. And Giselle couldn't have said yes faster.
