No need to say that neither Opie nor Giselle got a wink of sleep.

They spent the rest of the night sitting on the floor, leaning against the couch. The silence hung heavy between them, each lost in their own thoughts. The stillness was almost comforting, but their minds were racing, too tangled up to let them rest.

It's already morning, and the funeral preparations are underway for tomorrow.

Opie's mom, along with a few others, is getting everything ready, while Giselle decides to spend time with the kids, hoping to make this whole situation a little easier for them.

Meanwhile, Jax pulls up in front of his best friend's house to check on him.

As he steps inside, he immediately runs into Opie's mom. After a quick greeting, he asks her where Opie is. "Outside...with the kids...and Giselle." Jax furrows his brow. "She stayed the night. Said she didn't want to leave him alone." Jax smiles at that and heads outside.

The kids are sitting on the swings, while Opie and Giselle are seated nearby.

As Jax approaches, Giselle notices him and gives him a small smile, which he returns before hugging Opie and sitting down next to him.

"How are they doing?" Jax asks, nodding towards the kids. "She's been crying all morning. Kenny still doesn't get it," Opie replies. Jax exchanges a glance with Giselle, but she looks away, sighing before going over to the kids.

There's no one in the world who messes with her head like Jax does, and it's driving her crazy.

But there's one thing that she knows for sure: if he doesn't make a decision soon, she's going to have to, and she's not sure she wants to.

On the other hand, Jax watches Giselle from a distance as she pushes the kids on the swings, talking to them, probably trying to distract them.

He knows he needs to make a decision, and he thinks he knows what it is. But right now, he has to focus on Opie.

"You want me to stick around?" he asks. "No, Giselle's already stayed the night. I'm okay," Opie says, looking at his best friend for a moment before turning his gaze back to his kids. "One last thing, Giselle's a good woman. If you don't make a move, you're gonna lose her for good, brother. I didn't fight hard enough for Donna, and now it's too late. Don't make the same mistake."

Jax sighs, looking at Giselle in front of him, and his heart starts beating faster—something that's never happened with anyone, not even with Tara.

He knows he has to do the right thing. Now, things are clearer.

After hours of that suffocating silence, Giselle decides it's time to snap back to reality, at least for a while. She needs to push aside all the thoughts and the tension that Jax still stirs up in her, even from a distance. Maybe work—focusing on something real—can help her find some mental peace. Even if it's just for a couple of hours.
