y'all I ain't even gonna lie I had another idea for a book and I even made a cover for it...

would you be interested? Or should I just stick with this one...

tell me in the comments cuz I literally love the cover I made ngl (the book wouldn't be related to this one btw)

if I should post it and a first chapter tell me in the comments and I most likely will (I'm influenced quickly)

also, sorry for the TWO WEEK DELAY 😨

I've been feeling really unmotivated, and my phone continuing to glitch even after I payed like $150 to fix it previously obviously isn't helping either 😤

I want to say I'll keep posting on time, but I can't promise that I can, although I will do my best.

anyway, enjoy this chapter! (I've been planning scenarios for this book all week) 😈

——————————————————————————

The lights flicker as they turn on, and with adrenaline coursing through my body, I squeeze my eyes shut and turn on my heels, before releasing the knife held tightly in my grasp and throwing it blindly with as much force as possible.

I hear a thud, later joined by a small whimper, and I open my eyes and gasp as I lift a hand to cover my mouth.

Azalea looks at me with horror as she turns her head to the left to look at the knife embedded into the wall just beside her cheekbone.

Her face goes pale, and my eyes widen as her jaw drops. I look around, and notice everyone from my family beside Azalea, either holding balloons or wrapped presents, with shock plastered on their faces.

"Fuck!" I rush forward, and my eyes quickly sweep over her, double checking that the knife hadn't touched her.

"You nearly killed me!" She gasps. I wince as I reach for the knife and quickly pull it out, sighing at the hole in the wall, before placing it on the table she stood behind, which I only just noticed was covered in various party foods and drinks.

"Did you... plan me a surprise party?" I ask, my eyes falling on the table again. It had some of my favourite foods and drinks, and on the far end it had wrapped presents stacked upon each other.

"Yes, we did, and how do you repay me? By throwing a knife at my face!" She yells. I raise my hands up in surrender, and watch as she glares at me, cake still clutched in her hands.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I thought someone had broken in! At least the knife didn't hit you?" I smile sheepishly.

"Why you little-" She cuts herself off as she storms around the table and lifts her hands up. Before I realised what she was doing, the cake smashes straight into my face.

I hear gasps around me, and I stand there in surprise as the plate slides off my face and onto the floor. I lift a finger up, and swipe some frosting off my nose before bringing it to my lips.

"Ooh, cookies and cream. My favourite." I grin as I wipe my eyes, and see Azalea grinning with satisfaction.

"It's good to see you again, Lea." She laughs as she runs forward and wraps her arms around me, hugging so tight it felt like I was being given the heimlich.

"I'm missed you so much. I don't care if I've only technically known you for a few days, you're my best friend now."

"Hey!" We both laugh as Luca complains. "I thought I was your best friend! At least I wasn't the one who threw a knife at you!"
