Summer had turned to fall in matter of days, which was no wonder since it was still very warm even at the end of September. The leaves slowly turned all shades of yellow and orange, falling from the trees in a fury of Colours. I hurriedly wiped across the pages of my book to get rid of the leaves that had fallen on top. The wind blew another gust of air into my face making me tuck my hair behind my ears again and again until I grew tired of it. I snapped my book shut and moved to get up. My back ached from sitting underneath that tree for so long.

"Lexi!" I turned to see Remus and Sirius approaching, behind them a confused James and an even more confused Peter. I froze, checking if there was any way I could escape the situation without plainly running away. Meeting Sirius was a lot, and it was way out of my comfort zone, but meeting James and Peter was the worst case scenario.

My status of invisibility was slowly crumbling. Worse enough that the whole OWL preparation class now knew my name and knew that I had a disagreement with Regulus, but having the attention of the Marauders was truly too much.

"You look like you've seen a Ghost" Sirius commented as they reached my side. I swallowed harshly and looked between him, Remus and the other two. James was shorter then Remus and Sirius but still taller then me and Peter, his hair was a messy mop of black curles and his glasses sat crooked on his nose.

"So you must be this Alexis that Remus wont stop talking about" James smiled and held out his hand. I glanced nervously at it, which Sirius seemed to notice. I was too caught up to notice Remus turning red.

"Oh she doesn't like to be touched" he explained to his friend, but before he could pull his hand away I grabbed it quickly before pulling away. Sirius raised his eyebrows.

"A handshake is fine" I mumbled " I can handle that" I awkwardly and quickly shook Peters hands too.

"By the way Princess" Sirius adressed me with the Nickname that he had called me back when we met "If I didn't love you before I definitely do now" he then turned to the others "This girl right here completely destroyed my brother in an argument"

"Really?" Remus looked shocked. The urge to run away grew with every second.

"I didn't mean to-" My voice cracked "We just had a fight the other day and I just couldn't tolerate his shit anymore"

"I didn't know you've ever spoken with him before that fight" Sirius said, I shrugged in effort to change the subject. "How did the two of you meet?"

"we just work together in the Planning committee and we had a disagreement" I tried to avoid the topic of how we met without lying.

"Well I'm still Impressed" Sirius patted me on the shoulder lightly "Sometimes I think brutal honesty would do those snakes some good. Most of them could use some humbling"

"I'd be happy to do the honours" I spoke without thinking, the rage from two days ago bubbling up once more. Sirius grinned at me and so did the other three.

"Wonderful" James pushed his glasses up his nose. "I knew you Ravenclaws aren't half bad-"

"To be fair, you gryffindores could use some humbling too" I added while cutting off James. Remus eyes widened and James jaw almost hit the ground "Evidence number one is your reaction"

"I have half a mind to throw you into the lake" Sirius held up his hands threatingly. I glanced at the Black lake behind me, my eyes widened with fear. Sirius approached me quickly, I stepped to the side in the last second before he got close enough to actually push me in.

"Try that again and I'll cut of your dick and let you die a painful and long death" I threatened him with a glare. Sirius eyes widened but not in a scared way.

"You cant even touch him, I doubt you could do any real damage" James snickered.

"I could kill both of you without even raising my hands" I narrowed my eyes. Remus was clearly enjoying the situation, lips quirked upwards as I gave his friends some contra.

"I've never been so attracted to someone" Sirius winked at me which completely threw me off my game. The glare I held only seconds ago was now replaced by confused blinking. James looked amused at the comment as well, while Remus didn't think that was funny at all.

"I just threatened to kill you..." I stated very confused.

"Marry Me" Sirius fell to his knees mockingly acting like a lovesick boy proposing to his great love. He grabbed my hand carefully, watching to make sure that I was okay, and then acted like he placed multiple kisses onto my hand. His lips never really touched my skin and his hand under mine didn't bother me half as much as they had the last time we had met.

"Looks like James when he sees Lily" Peter commented for the first time since they had arrived. James turned incredibly red in record time. I tugged at Sirius hand and signalled for him to stand up, which he did while letting my hand go.

I was surprisingly fine with their company at that moment. No one was watching. We were entirely alone on that rather warm September evening.

"Are you going to Hogsmead this weekend?" Remus asked, effectively changing the subject from the blushing James. I never go to hogsmead.

"No, I don't really go there" I pulled my robe around me a bit tighter as a gust of air blew cold wind around us.

"Well you do now" Sirius stated "You my dear Alexis are coming to Hogsmead with us this weekend, because I am hereby inviting you to drink a butterbeer with us" He held his hand to his chest "It would deeply hurt my pride if you declined the invitation"

"Like I said, a little less pride wouldn't hurt you.." I begun knowing that I should decline. BEing out here with them was one thing but out in Public where everyone could see me with them was something different. Sirius face fell. His reacting made me feel very bad, the others also didn't look too happy.

"come on Lexi, one butterbeer cant hurt" Remus bumped ag ainst my shoulder, smiling down at me. A warmth spread inside me that made me feel all fuzzy and comfortable. My mind was wiped off all doubts when I looked at them once more.

"How could I ever say no" I knew it went against all my rule, all my principles and yet it felt right.

"Meet us in the great hall after lunch then" James grinned "We'll be sitting at one of the four huge tables"

"Let me guess. The one with red and gold" I raised my eyebrow.

"How'd you know?" James said with fake surprise and wonder.

"Lucky guess"
