Beth's POV: New Season 24/25

Today is the first match of the season. It's a London Derby, Arsenal v Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium. I woke up early and kissed Viv bye. We both leave to our different clubs. Once I arrive, Leah smiles. "Are you ok?" asked Leah. "Yeah, I am. We talked about it and we understand one has to lose" I said.

"You two are great together, this will be fine" said Leah. "I know" I said. We head to the stadium and once we park, we head inside. I wave at fans and smile. Let's win this.

We get changed and head out for the warm up. I see Viv warming up with Lauren and smile. Viv has told me how her and Lauren are basically sisters, which Lauren has told me too and that Lauren feels safe with Viv. I'm proud of both them, their both similar to each other and I think it's good they have each other.

We head back inside and get ready. Kim smiles. "I have nothing to say but let's do this!" said Kim. We head out and I smile at Viv. Viv smiles back and we get into it.

At 15', Viv scores a banger but doesn't celebrate. I shake my head knowing Viv will be happy to start with a goal.

We go through the motions but Viv scores a hat trick and Chelsea are beating us in every dual. Even after half time, we still can't score so when the full time whistle blows. I sigh and look down. I hear my name and look up.

"You had a good game Beth" said Viv. I nod. "I know, but just wasn't enough but next time" I said, smirking. Viv chuckles. "Nope, sorry" said Viv. I laugh and hug her. "I love you" I said. "I love you, more" said Viv. Viv goes to shake Leah's hand and I go to Lauren.

"Thank you" I said. Lauren looks at me. "For what?" asked Lauren. "Viv. You've helped her so much since she joined and I know you've helped her settle after the shit she had at Arsenal" I said. "She's like a sister to me, I know how it feels to be mistreated by a club." said Lauren. "I know and I'm sorry you experienced it at Arsenal" I said. Lauren shrugs. "I'm home now. I'm happy. I better go get changed to head home" said Lauren. I nod. We swap shirts and she leaves.

I go get changed and Alessia smiles. "Your happy" said Alessia. I nod. "Viv has found people who get her as well as me. She deserves this" I said. "She does" said Alessia. Once I finish, we head to the bus. We drive back to Coloney and I get in my car. I drive home and see Viv is already there.

I head inside and Viv smiles at me as she walks out. "Hey" said Viv. "Hi, you look fresh" I said. "I had a shower" said Viv. I walk over and kiss her. "I ordered on the way home, I'm gonna change and then it should be here" I said. Viv smiles and kisses me.

I go change and head back down to the food on the table. We dig in and once we finish, we clean up.

We sit on the sofa and I smile. "How's Chelsea?" I ask. "Amazing. I feel safe, happy and apart of the family" said Viv. "That's great" I said, smiling. "Beth, your hiding something. Tell me it" said Viv.

"With the permission of Arsenal, I've been talking to Chelsea." I said. "Oh" said Viv, smiling a bit. "Chelsea has expressed interest in me and if all goes to plan..... they may buy me in January" I said, smiling. "Oh my god! I love you but are you sure?" asked Viv. "I love Arsenal but lately I haven't felt at home. I love the girls but watching you with the Chelsea girls, I want that" I said. Viv smiles and kisses me.

"Let's go to bed and then relax tomorrow" said Viv. I nod and we head to our room. We lie in each others arms and feel ourselves falling asleep.

So, it's looking like Beth's moving to Chelsea!
