BETH'S POV: REHEARSAL DINNER (They decided on no hens night)
It's finally our wedding week! We won the 25/26 league and the UWCL along with the FA Cup. Today is our rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. Then tomorrow is the wedding. Me and Viv went for a walk before heading to the manor. We're staying over night on different sides.
We relaxed till 11 before we got ready for the rehearsal. We don't need to be dressed up for the ceremony rehearsal so we both wear white jeans and a white blouse. We get down there and both our dads are there. "So, who will walk down first?" asked Luna, the woman who is in charge.
"Viv will walk down first with her dad and then I'll walk down" I said, Viv nodding. "Great. So, are you doing a first look with each other or a surprise at the alter?" asked Luna, smiling. "We're surprising each other" I said. "Perfect, these are two separate rooms so we will time it for you both to arrive at different times, both rooms have a bathroom and drinks for you while you wait" said Luna, nodding. We nod and we practice.
Once we reach the alter, Luna smiles. "Perfect and this is where the priest will do what he does. Will you be saying your own vows?" asked Luna. "No. We're going to share them in a letter after the ceremony in private" said Viv. "Aw, that's romantic" said Luna.
We go through the ceremony and then we head to our rooms to get ready. I pull on my white dress and white heels. Liv curls my hair and does light make up. I smile and Ben walks over to me. He pulls me in for a hug. "Mum would be so proud of you" said Ben, smiling. "I hope so" I said. "She will, she always wanted you and Viv to date" said Ben, smirking. I frown. "What do you mean?" I ask, looking at him.
"She saw you two together sometimes during warm ups and stuff, she said one day they will realise that they are meant to be and will get married. She knew way before you two knew, even while you were with Daan and Viv with Lisa. She just knew." said Ben, smiling. I tear up and he hugs me again. "Thank you, Ben" I said, hugging him tighter.

We head down to the room where it's been held and we head inside. Viv walks over and wow. "Wow.... you look breathtaking" I said, kissing her. "As do you, fuck I wish we were alone" said Viv, smirking. I blush and hug her.
We settle down and enjoy our meal. "I've prepared a small speech" said dad, smiling. I smile and he stands up.
"When Beth was younger, me and June noticed how much she loved weddings. She was obsessed with mine and June's wedding pictures. As we watched her grow, she still had that same love for weddings. When she and Daan dated, I knew it wouldn't really last because June could sense something between Viv and Beth, even before they themselves noticed it. Watching Viv love my daughter, keep her safe. Make her happy, makes me happy. I don't have to wish you anything because I know both of you will love, protect each other till your last breaths." said dad.
Me and Viv are crying. We hug him. René stands up and smiles.
"Viv, where do I start? She's the quiet person, who is shy but once you get to know her you see she's funny, a little bit crazy but so loving and kind. Me and Carolien, we knew when we saw Beth and Viv they were endgame. And we love how Beth protects her, loves her, makes her laugh. I want to say thank you to Beth. You bought out the Viv we know, to be able to be her in public. You have pushed her to be herself and to be brave. Bethany Jane Mead, you our daughter and we love you" said René. We hug René and then we finish at 9pm.
Me and Viv go for a walk before bed. We stop in front of a well and smile. "I love you" I said. "I love you" said Viv. We share a kiss. "I'll miss you tonight" I said, rubbing her waist. Viv rubs my cheeks. "I'll miss you too but it's only for tonight then we have the rest of our lives" said Viv, leaning in. We share a kiss before Viv walks me to my room.
"Have a good sleep, Viv. I love you" I said, kissing her. "You too, Beth" said Viv. I head inside and close the door. I pull on my pyjamas and slide under the covers. I close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep.
