BETH'S POV: They came home two days before leaving for the Euros and it's the day before they leave :)

I wake up when I hear a beep from my phone. I yawn and pick it up. I see the name, Danielle Van De Donk.

From Danielle

Hey, I was wondering do you want to meet up?

To Danielle

Only if Viv can come

From Danielle

Ok, yeah sure

To Danielle

Ok. time and place and we'll meet

1 and Lily's Cafe?

To Danielle

Ok.

I wake Viv up with a kiss. "Hey, Danielle texted me" I said. Viv sits up. "Why?" asked Viv, frowning. "She wants to meet up and I said only if you could join me. She agreed" I said, nodding. "Ok. What time?" asked Viv. "1pm and Lily's Cafe" I said.

"Ok, it's 11 now so lets have our showers and leave" said Viv. I agree and we go have our showers. I pull on jeans, a white top and my leather jacket. I pull on my runners and blow dry my hair. I put my hair into a ponytail and smile.

Viv walks over wearing jeans, a blouse and a denim jacket. She smiles. "You look beautiful" said Viv. "As do you" I said. We share a kiss and go get granola bars. We get in the car and begin the journey to Lily's Cafe.

Once we arrive, I breathe out. "You ok?" asked Viv, placing her hand on my thigh. "I haven't seen her since it all went down" I said. "It'll be ok" said Viv. I nod and kiss her. We head inside and order coffee and toasted sandwiches.

We spot Danielle and Ellie, we tell the barista where our table is and she smiles. We head over and sit down. "Hey" said Danielle. "Hi" I said. Our food and drinks arrive.

We dig in and then I look at Danielle. "So, what did you want?" I ask. "I know we haven't gotten closure on..... well, us" said Danielle. I sigh and nod. "Ok" I said. "And me and Ellie, we're getting serious and I want to make amends" said Danielle. I nod. "Ok, so here it goes" said Danielle, breathing heavily.

"When I found out Arsenal was selling me, I was shocked and upset. I didn't want to leave but I had too. Going to Lyon and meeting the girls, I instantly felt connections but I never expected to meet Ellie and feel something. Our three years, Beth, was amazing. I have enjoyed every minute of it. Going to Lyon, I was able to start over and I did want to stay with you. I loved you, you know. But me and Ellie, we were house mates and then we just became best friends until we kissed. When that happened, I was heartbroken because I cheated and I just.... I didn't know. Then we slept together and I guess, I accepted my feelings for Ellie. When you found out, I should have tried harder to apologise and work something out. I know this may not have you forgive me fully but I just felt like we both needed this" said Danielle, sighing.

I nod. I breathe out. "I forgive you, Danielle. It was tough at first but after a while I moved on. Then I started hanging out with Viv quite a lot, and I guess my feelings opened and I fell for Viv. I've never been happier and I hope you both are happy together" I said. "We are and honestly, Beth? I had an inkling you two would date" said Danielle, smirking.

I frown. "How?" I ask. "You and me, we were both extroverted and outgoing. We clashed at times. I can tell with you and Viv, you bring Viv out of her shell and she calms you. You both work together well and I can see the love you have for each other" said Danielle. We blush.

"Danielle, I'd like us to be friends but it will take a while" I said. "Yeah, and Danielle? Your a pain for hurting Beth but without you doing what you did, me and Beth would have never gotten together" said Viv. I burst out laughing as does Danielle. Ellie just stares.

"Oh, baby, it's fine. Viv is very blunt at times" said Danielle, wiping her eyes. "Oh.... right. I'm not used to that" said Ellie. "You'll get used to it" I said, smiling. Ellie nods, smiling. "We better go, we have a flight to catch back to France" said Danielle. "Have a safe flight and if your both ever in London, text us" I said. Viv agrees.

We hug bye and leave. We drive home and sit on our sofa. "I'm happy we done it. I've gotten closure and it feels good" I said, kissing Viv. "We got a friend back" said Viv. I nod, kissing her. "Ok, are you packed?" I ask. "Yes, you?" asked Viv. "Yes. Dad's coming for Myle, he'll be here at 4. So in an hour" I said. "Ok, we'll cook dinner for him" said Viv.

We cook dinner and dad walks in. "Hey dad, dinner?" I ask. "Yeah, I'm starving" said dad. We sit down and dad smiles. "What did you two do today?" asked dad. "We met up with Danielle and her girlfriend Ellie. I got closure and gained a friend back" I said.

"I'm proud of you, Beth. I really am" said dad. We finish and clean up. Dad leaves with Myle and I hug Viv from behind. "Movie, cuddles?" I ask. "Yes" said Viv. We change into our pyjama's and watch a random movie before going to bed.

We cuddle for the last time, well last time till we come home from the Euros 2025.
