Today we're having our gender reveal. We left Leah and Katie along with LJ in charge. Beth walks in wearing her white dress. I'm wearing a white blouse with a white tank under it and white jeans. We both decided to go in white so we don't show a preference.
Beth walks over. "I can't believe I am 18 weeks" said Beth, rubbing her bump. I lean down and kiss her. "I love you" I said, smiling. "I love you more" said Beth, kissing me again. We head downstairs and we drive to the location.
Once we arrive, LJ walks up to us and smiles. "You ready?" asked LJ. We nod. "We are" I said. We walk to where everyone is and we chat to everyone We have some food and then we get told to stand by the circle with a balloon in the middle.
"All you have to do is pop it" said Katie, smiling. They had us a pin. I smile and I take Beth's hand. "This is it. We're going to find out if we're boy or girl moms" I said, smiling. "Let's countdown from 3" said Beth, smiling.
"3..... 2.....1" said Katie.
I go to pop it and once it does, we see blue confetti! "OH MY GOD" we both scream. I hand the pin to Katie and hug Beth. I kiss her and smile. "Our baby boy" said Beth, smiling. "Our baby boy" I said, kissing her again. Mum and dad run to us. They give us a hug and smile. "A grandson" said dad. "A grandson" I said, kissing his cheek.
Mum hugs Beth and rubs her bump. "I can't wait to spoil him" said mum. "Same here, Carolien" said Beth, smiling. I smile and hug Beth from behind. "Mmmm a son" I said, kissing her neck. "A baby boy to love and help him reach great heights" said Beth, smiling. "I can't wait to welcome to the world" I said.
LJ walks over and smiles. "I'm so happy for you, you'll be great boy moms" said LJ, smiling. I smile and pull her in for a hug. "Thank you, LJ" I said. Beth looks at me and nods. I nod back and smile at LJ. "Me and Beth discussed Godparents for him and we would love if you'd be his godmother" I said. "Really?" asked LJ. "Yes, you helped me settle in at Chelsea and were there for me. I know you'd be there for our son if needed" I said, smiling. LJ pulls me in for a hug.
"Thank you for trusting me to be his godmother" said LJ. "Always" I said, kissing her forehead. We continue to have fun and celebrate our son. Once everyone goes home, we lie on our bed in our pyjama's.
"I love you" said Beth, looking at me. "I love you more" I said. We share a kiss before falling asleep.
NEXT DAY.
I wake up and Beth's already dressed. "So, I was thinking of going to buy stuff for the baby" said Beth, sitting down. "That sounds perfect." I said, smiling. I go have a shower and pull on jeans, a hoodie and vans.
We decide to go to Pret for breakfast before heading to the shops. We walk around and look at prams. "I don't know" said Beth. "There's so many" I said. We find one and we nod.

"Yes, this is it" I said. We buy it and then we buy furniture for the nursery and they say the will deliver it all to us. We head home and put the bits we bought away in our room. "So, now we just have to put the stuff up. We already have the room painted and stuff done" I said. I text dad and Richard along with Ben and Lars to come over since they are delivering it on the same day.
They arrive just as the delivery men arrive. We show them the room and they place it down. "We can build, you two are on food duty" said dad. We nod and go get food cooking.
They come down for food and smile. "It's done" said dad. "And we think it's pretty good too" said Richard. We follow them upstairs and we go inside. "Oh my god I love it" I said. "It's amazing" said Beth. We hug them and thank them.

They leave after a while and then we bring Myle on a walk. Once we get back, we watch tv on in the sitting room before deciding to go to bed. We fall asleep almost immediately.
