VIV'S POV:
Today is the day we get the results back from the blood work. Beth's nervous and I am trying to keep her spirits in.
I get ready and find Beth dressed. "I'll make us breakfast" I said, smiling. I go to the kitchen and begin to make the toast with avocado. Beth walks in and hugs me from behind. "I can't wait to be pregnant" said Beth, smiling.
I smile and finish up. "I can't wait to be able to see you pregnant, our baby kicking, the baby being born" I said, looking down at her. "Mmm same" said Beth, smiling. I pull her in for a kiss and we sit down to eat.
Once we finish, we head to the clinic. We go in and check in. I take Beth's hand and I kiss her hand. "It'll be positive news" said Viv, smiling. Beth nods and kisses me. "Beth Miedema and Vivianne Miedema" said Mary, smiling at us. We head inside and sit down.
"So, we have the results. Everything is great." said Mary. "Really?" asked Beth, smiling. "Yes! So we have the injections for both of you to do for a 3 weeks to get your eggs ready then you will both come in. Beth you won't be needing to have anything done, it'll be Vivianne that we will be taking the eggs from and here's files on sperm donors. We went with donors who have similar eye colour and hair colour to Beth." said Mary.
We look at the files and we find one who looks nearly identical to Beth. We have our first injection there with them showing us how to do it. She hands us our bag with the injections and we head home. We sit on the sofa and I yawn. "Step one to having a baby" I said, smiling. "Step one and I can't wait for more" said Beth, kissing me. "Same here, Beth" I said , kissing me.
I smile. "I'll cook us a roast" I said, smiling. Beth nods and kisses me. I head into the kitchen and begin to make the roast dinner. Once I finish I call Beth in and she comes in. We sit down and relax. We dig in. "I love it, Viv" said Beth, smiling. "All for you" I said. We finish and clean up.
Afterwards we go grab Myle's lead and bring her for a walk. As we walk down the street, we see people with babies. "I can't wait for that to be us" I said, smiling. "Same here, I really can't wait to have our own baby" said Beth, wrapping her arm around me.
We get home and yawn. We pull on pyjama's and decide to lie on our bed to watch a movie. We turn on Step Up and we cuddle while we watch.
We fall asleep pretty quickly after the movie is over.
