VIV'S POV: SKIP TO 4 WEEKS LATER (I don't know how long it takes for eggs to fertilise) She also played her last match. (there will be a chapter in part four about the last match)
Today is the day. Beth is getting the embryo transfer and Beth's nervous but ready. I'm nervous too but I'm trying not to be because I know she needs me. I pull on leggings, my Chelsea top and a runners. Beth walks over wearing sweatpants, a Nothing Stops Us top by Chelsea and vans. Her hair is up and she walks over to me. She pulls me in for a hug.
"I'm ready for this" said Beth. "So am I" I said, smiling. We have avocado toast and tea. We finish and I clean up afterwards. Once I finish, I see Beth cuddling Myle. I walk over and wrap my arms around her. I kiss her cheek and smile. "You ready?" I ask. "Yeah" said Beth, kissing me.
We get the house locked up and we head to the clinic. We go inside and check in. We sit down and we chat about everything. "Beth and Vivianne Miedema" said Mary, stepping out smiling. We smile and stand up. We head inside and Mary smiles. "If you can go behind the curtain and out on the gown." said Mary, handing Beth the gown.
Beth heads behind the curtain and gets changed. She comes back out and lies on the bed. I take Beth's hand and kiss it. "Ok, we're beginning" said Mary. Mary transfers the embryo and Mary smiles. "All done. You will have to wait for a bit before testing" said Mary. We smile and Mary smiles. "You can stay in here for 15 minutes, to just let everything settle." said Mary, nodding. We nod and she leaves us to be.
I kiss her. "I love you, this could be it" I said, smiling. Beth's tearing up. "I'm so happy, I love you." said Beth, kissing me softly. I smile into the kiss and once it gets to 15 minutes, Beth gets changed. We head out and Mary wishes us luck.
We head home and I tell Beth to put on her pyjama's and relax in bed. She goes and does that while I make us dinner. I bring it up to our room and we sit on the bed to eat. "Babe, we have to announce your retirement. Chelsea said they'd let you announce it first" I said, smiling. Beth nods and rubs her face. "I'm nervous" said Beth. I sit beside her and nod.
"So am I but they will understand soon enough" I said, kissing her hand. I watch her make her post and post it.

BethMead_: Writing this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Last week I played my final match in my career. I have officially retired from football for reasons not to be discussed right now but will be discussed soon enough. I have been asked to stay at Chelsea and help coach the team as I have my license to coach.
I have loved playing for all my clubs, Sunderland, Arsenal and Chelsea.

I smile at Beth and kiss her. I clean up and head back upstairs. "I'm going to take Myle for a walk" I said. "Ok, be safe" said Beth. I kiss her. "Always" I said. I take Myle and we head out for a walk. Once we finish the walk, we head back and I lock up.
I pull on my pyjama's and slide in beside Beth. "I love you" I said, smiling. "I love you" said Beth. We turn on Love Island and then go to sleep afterwards.
