Beth's POV:

It's been 5 weeks of injections and today Viv is going in to get eggs removed and ready to fertilize with the sperm from our donor. I pull on jeans, a t-shirt and vans. I go see Viv is ready in leggings and an over sized shirt. "You ready?" I ask. "Yeah, just made breakfast so let's eat before we leave" said Viv.

We have our cereal and orange juice. We clean up and then we head to the clinic. "Are you ok?" I ask, looking at Viv as she drives. "Just nervous, I really want this to work first try" said Viv, breathing out. "Viv, we have to be positive. We have a good chance of it happening it first try. My womb is healthy and your eggs are healthy" I said, placing my hand on her thigh. 

"I know, I just panic" said Viv. "And so do I. But we can get through this" I said. Viv smiles and continues the drive to the clinic. Once we arrive, we look for a parking spot. When we find one, Viv parks and we step out. Viv locks the car and we head inside. 

We check in and sit on the bench. "Breathe, Viv" I said, rubbing her thighs. Viv kisses my forehead. "I love you, Beth" said Viv, smiling at me. "I love you too, Viv. So much" I said, smiling at her. "Vivianne Miedema?" asked Mary, smiling. 

We stand up and follow her into the room. "If you could change into this gown behind the curtain and then we can get started" said Mary, nodding. Viv goes behind the curtain and I stand by the bed. Viv walks out and smiles. 

"Ok, we're going to do a quick scan of your ovaries and womb then we can get started. We will take out around 10 eggs and maybe a few more just to be safe." said Mary, nodding. Mary does the scan and smiles. "Perfect. Let's proceed with the removal of the eggs" said Mary, smiling. I hold Viv's hands and just watch as they do it.

Once it's over, Viv gets changed and Mary smiles after coming back in. "We will now be fertilising the eggs and then waiting to see how many work" said Mary. We thank her and head home.

Viv sits on the sofa. "I'm a bit sore" said Viv. "Ok, I'll give you medicine and then I'll take Myle for a walk" I said. "Are you sure?" asked Viv. "I am" I said. I give her water and her painkillers. I get Myle ready and head for a walk. 

"Hey!" said Millie. She walks over and hugs me. "Hey" I said. "Where's Viv?" asked Millie. "Oh, she's feeling a bit rough so I said I'll take Myle out" I said, smiling. "Mmmm, I hope she's ok" said Millie, smiling. "She will be." I said. "So, ready for the new season?" asked Millie. I breathe out. "You can't tell anyone this but me and Viv, we're doing IVF right now and we just had Viv's egg removal today so she's sore. And I'm retiring. I will play the first match of the season and then retiring, Paul and Sonia already know" I said. "Oh.... congratulations! You'll be amazing parents" said Millie. "Luckily, I'll be allowed to work at Chelsea and be there for support while pregnant" I said. "Yes! That's amazing" said Millie, smiling.

We go for a walk together before I head home. I let Myle off her lead and sit beside Viv. "I ran into Millie, I told her about the IVF. I felt like she needed to know because she's the captain and we need someone in our corner" I said, looking at Viv. Viv places her hand on mine. 

"It's ok, Katie called around to tell me her and Caitlin having a party on Friday and I told her about it. She is keeping it a secret" said Viv. "As is Millie. We have two people now to help us" I said, kissing Viv. "We do, we'll need that" said Viv, rubbing my stomach. "You did that last night" I said, smiling. "What?" asked Viv. "Rub my stomach" I said, smiling. "Oh" said Viv. "Don't you dare stop. I love it" I said. Viv smirks and kisses me. 

"Mmm you love my hands on your body" said Viv. I blush and nod. "I do" I said, smiling. "Mmmm good to know" said Viv, kissing me. We go cook dinner, which is burgers and a salad along with chips. We settle down and we chat as we eat. Afterwards I clean up and Viv feeds Myle. Afterwards we put on our pyjama's and lie on the sofa.

Viv places her hand on my stomach and kisses my head. We watch Annie and then we watch Grown Ups. Once it's over we head to bed. We brush our teeth and slide under the covers. "Night, love you" said Viv. "Night and love you too" I said, kissing her. She pulls me into her arms and we fall asleep pretty quickly.
