Y/n's POV

Right now

The newly born creature is looking out the glass wall. Or is he looking at his own reflection? He stands still in the air. Clearly, he is gonna be a good airborne. He floats there, supposedly pondering about life that he just got. But him attacking Thor got you all in defence mode. But everyone just watches.

He floats back towards the lab, through the broken glass, and stands in front of the group.

"That was.. odd. I apologise." He says to Thor. Then rotates his shoulders and a cape, like Thor, grows from its back.

You look at Tony, whose eyes are fixated at what he just created. Thor sighs in relief, "I doubted you would let this vision come to life."

"Yea, thanks to Tony, the nightmare is now a reality." Steve says.

"I had a vision, a whirlpool that sucked all hopes to life and in its centre... is this." He points at the yellow stone embedded in the robot's third eye.

"What? The gem?" Bruce takes a few steps in curiosity.

"It's the mind stone. It's one of the six infinity stones, the greatest power in the universe unparalleled in its destructive capabilities."

Oh this is definitely not good. You look to your side to glare at Tony. "I honestly did NOT know that." His shoulders automatically begin to lift under your gaze.

Steve turns towards Tony too. The man in question was about to plead not guilty, when Thor speaks up, "No, Stark's right."

"Oh, it's definitely the end of time." Bruce looks your way.

"The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron." Thor states.

"Not alone." The newborn speaks again, taking the centre of the room.

"Why does your vision sound like Jarvis?" Steve questions.

"We reconfigured Jarvis's matrix to make something new." Tony explains, "And hopefully better."

"I think I've had my fill of new. You think I'm a child of Ultron." He reads the room. It's true.

"I'm not Ultron. I'm not Jarvis. I am..." The vision tries to figure out who he is and you hope he doesn't try and find his place on the power ladder.

"I looked in your head and saw annihilation. It's hard to believe you're not Ultron." Wanda says. You're really missing Natasha right now. It would be different had she been here, wouldn't it? You start getting worried for her now. But she's such a bad ass and was literally trained to survive any adversity. So you think she'll be fine.

"Look again." Vision assures.

Clint snickers mockingly, "Don't even try, it's not like I trust all red heads we meet."

"Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the mind stone and nothing can compare to what it can unleash. But with it on our side..." Thor explains like he's been meditating this whole time and is now enlightened.

"Is it?" Cap, the most sceptical yet somehow the most optimistic of all asks, "Are you? On our side?"

"I don't think it's that simple." The vision says.

"Well better get real simple real soon." Barton sounds threatening. You fold your arms under your chest.

"I'm on the side of life. Ultron isn't. He will end it all."

"What's he waiting for?" Tony says from beside you.

"You."

"Where?" Bruce removes the finger resting on his lips.
