I woke up not too long ago to watch the sunrise through my window, but I found myself quite entranced by a single line of ants marching across my bed. The warmth of the sun began to set in, and I peeped through the window but was greeted by the now-empty courtyard of the university. What once was bustling with life, with each student marching towards their classes or whatever activities, is now a quiet, calm, empty place; at least for the next few hours when everyone would begin to awake.

I got my supplies together, found the food the ants had scouted, drowned it in water in my sink, and then killed the remaining. I'm glad I've developed more self-restraint because I'd normally have the most goosebumps running up and down my body as if I just saw a herd of ghosts. I needed to keep my shit together today. It was Mãe's birthday, and we had to go to the venue to assist in setting it up. The theme followed the green and orange colour pallets. Red could be used, and gold and black were going to be sprinkled. In a way, it was a pre-Samhain celebration as well. I was beginning to feel excited about it all.

I got myself showered and changed off. The weather was beginning to cool down and get windier. That was a relief in the sense that I wouldn't be annoyed with my hair anymore. I could comfortably style it in ways that parts of it or just all of it could hang down. I was gonna start with my hair, but remembering the food in the sink got the best of me. I drained the sink, then the plate, and started to pile all the trash together. Annoyed.
For all of the exam weeks to come, Deven will be in charge of the trash. She's clean and organized, gladly... just absent from the dorm Friday night to Monday afternoon.

I walked to the trash chute quickly with my garbage, threw it in, and hoped it didn't tear upon impact. Then again, that's some heavy-duty trash bag. I could probably put a brick in there and hit it against a wall, and it would still be in great condition.

I washed my hands thoroughly and dried them well before starting the style I had in mind. I'd also pay special attention to my bangs. A trim was due for it.
One of the beads I set on the side rolled into the basin and almost rolled down the sink drain. I stopped the energy in motion just by looking at it. My heart palpitated harder as I focused. It jerked a few times, causing me to recalibrate, but got into the small belly -where a soap bar would be - where the rest stayed.
I sighed and continued my hair. I'm getting better. I looked at the BPD medication, calculating how many I should take today. Or should I just miss it today? It's been messing with my abilities. Just now was a great example of no prescription interference. I flicked my eyes back to my reflection.
Just get to it, get out there, and do your job. I sighed.

"Ok, bring those balloons back to the center... no, more to the right. Yeah, PERFECT! WOOO BEKIII!!!" None other than Anya cheered, hugging me as I descended the last ladder's stairs. and jumping with me.

'Hey, you're gonna make me throw up!' I signed as I pulled away with a smile.

She pouted but threw up her hands.

'Girls just wanna have fun!' she signed and then threw up a peace sign.

I went to get another blown-up balloon to fill one of the vacant spaces, but Kiruk-nai -I should shorten her name. Nai Nai- paused me, saying she'll take it over.

I was momentarily feeling dumb until she pointed to my elbow. It was bruised. I instantly looked at Abosk. He set some chairs down rotated his left arm and checked it. He slowly rubbed it, then shook it off. He caught me looking in his direction and signed that it was tingling. I signed back an apology, and he gave a thumbs up, going back for more chairs.

I couldn't shrug that off. I couldn't fix my knitted brows. What was that thumbs-up? I forgive you or thumbs up?? It doesn't matter? Is he mad at me? No, no. It's whatever.
