Try to recoup with your twin, they said,
"I Told you to take a fucking right turn!"
It's going to be the best fun you've had, they said
"I FUCKING DID FOR THE LAST 4 TURNS DIPSHIT!"
Yeah, I didn't think it would go like this.

We agreed to meet up at his pickup in the school lot. He was talking to another guy who smiled politely as I neared. I mustered a half smile and mentally critiqued him for that moment. I wasn't paying attention to Abosk's closing sentences to their conversation. I glanced at the entrance to the school before trying the handle. It opened. Thank the Gods and the Orishas.
I put my head back and moved my foot around in circles. Earlier today it was hurting and looked a bit swollen. Deven asked Anya what the best method for relief was and they settled on a foot massage. So Deven did just that. A Lymphatic draining massage to be exact. Hard as it was, I stayed off my foot for most of the morning, till now. Deven popped by in between classes to make sure I ate. I've been telling her most of what I was feeling, mentally and physically, and she made sure I kept my intake at a reasonable level. The dream I told her about my teeth must've scared her.
"So, where are we off to?" Abosk got in the passenger side. "Feeling for a restaurant? le déjeuner chic?"
"If you want to. Deven just fed me," I chuckled slightly. "I could go for an Acai bowl today, though."
"Fancy restaurant it is. " He looked at me, chuckled, and then started the car. "How are you feeling?"
"Good, I'm feeling good. Yourself?" I glanced over with a smile.
"Good too. Kiruk told me to tell you 'Hi,'" He began to pull out of the parking lot.
"Oh," I brought a finger against my lip and forced myself not to bite it last minute. "I hope she's well."
"We all are." he glanced at me confidently and began the journey to a restaurant.
He didn't have to explain. I knew he meant that for the first time in a while, we all felt like things were going well. He appreciated that vibe. I did too, especially right now.
We started our afternoon events with lunch like Anya and I did a week back. The silence that remained between us most of the time was comfortable. Lunch was over within the expected time frame, and we were on our way to the nearest arcade. We passed the wreck room on the way there.
"You've gone there before?" He glanced and I forced myself to face the road again.
"Yeah, A friend went there and asked me to accompany her." I flicked my nails against each other.
"You don't have to deny that you went to a rage room you know?" I could hear the smile in his voice, being kind. "If that's helped you, and I think it has, there's nothing to be ashamed of."
"Did your girlfriend tell you?" I looked at my nails.
"Yeah." We passed her store that moment, "Don't worry, she didn't tell Ms. Song."
I nodded. It didn't matter if she told her mom or not. Kiruk knows and Brenda finds out if she wants to.
"Alright. Ready for the arcade then? I know Street Fighter isn't very physical, but it should match forty percent of the relief that the rage room lets you feel." he turned of the vehicle.
I laughed and he followed with a chuckle. I checked my phone for the time. I'll probably spend my week's allowance competing with any and everyone in this arcade.
