The book states I must be alone, done.
Curtains must be closed and the room must be dark, done.
I need a mirror to look into, done.
A red candle to signify strength, courage and passion, done.
A bowl with black salt and my blood, done.
I follow the instructions from the book, lighting the candle and kneeling in front of the mirror, I place my hands on my knees and breathe away any negative energy I am holding onto, I look into the mirror and chant

"I call upon you,
Find me, heal me, set me free, from the demon that tortures me.
See me, hear me, feel me, free me, just let me be.
Allow my spirit to be free,
May magic flow to me"

I repeat my chant three times and look around. Nothing. I laugh at how desperate I have become but then my laughter becomes tears and I start to cry with my tears rolling down my face and into the black salt bowl. It didn't work, why would it. You can't summon magic, you have to born with it. How pathetic am I? I throw myself back on to my bed and cry the night away until I fall asleep.

"Wakey wakey" I feel someone poking me but my eyes are to heavy to open, Daeva is always doing silly voices and impressions, "Wakey wakey eggs and bakey" I am poked again, I'm not ready to wake up, not yet "go away Daeva" I roll over pulling the covers above my head "WAKE UP!" a deep voice bellows causing my bed to shake. My eyes dart open, that's not Daeva, I open my mouth to scream but it is instantly covered muffling my cry for help "no no no no no no no, we are not doing that, it's to early" he speaks in a deep tone, almost demonic as he taps the tip of my nose with every no he says. My eyes are wide open and I see him, every part of him. His jet black hair slicked back and his piercing red eyes. "Who are you? What are you?" I ask as he spins in the middle of the room showing himself off, he is tall, very tall, slim build with good muscles wearing a black button down shirt , black jeans and black boots. "To many questions and not enough coffee my dear" he looks at my mirror and my poor spell set up "you summoned me?" he speaks, did I? No I didn't, I stand rushing over to clean away the embarrassment of trying to summon my magic. Still in my uniform from yesterday looking dishevelled and still half asleep.
"You have the wrong girl, I did not summon you, you have to leave" I say as I continue to clear away my mess. He picks up the red candle and waves it from side to side "you summoned me" he smirks as he almost sings his words. "No, I didn't!" I protest as I try to snatch the candle out of his hand only for him to lift it so it is out of reach. "Red candle equals lust, lust equals me, me equals Asmodeus " he gloats with sarcasm as I reach for the candle again. "Oh no" I clasp my head in disbelief,"this cannot be happening" I sit myself down on the edge of my bed and throw my head into my hands. "Well it is and here I am" he bows. The one and only spell I have done has gone completely wrong. "You need to leave" I point to the door and he laughs "I cannot simply leave, you have summoned me" oh no "so how do i get rid of you?" I question as he lays on my roommates bed "you cannot" he smiles a devilish smile. There has to be a way.
The door swings open and I jolt up "what are you doing?" Daeva asks, looking around the room "I'm a little busy" I point to my roommates bed, Daeva looks at the bed and then back at me "what do you mean?" she asks confused, I stand and walk to the bed pointing at Asmodeus "you don't see him?" she's looking at me like I've gone crazy, maybe I have "see who?" I point again "last night I did the thing and now this man won't leave me alone" I say hoping for her to help me but instead she smiles and bounces with excitement "if it worked then you have magic!" she bounces some more and hugs me tightly before parting from me, looking me up and down "you need a shower" she says in disgust "she's right" Asmodeus agrees. "Ah" Daeva squeals "you see him? Tell me you see him!" I look at her as she looks at him in an open mouth stare "I see him" she says, I sigh with relief, I've not gone crazy "well that my dear is because I am only seen when I want to be and by whom I want to be seen by" he sits himself up from on the bed as I look at him, making himself comfortable.
"Who is he?" Daeva turns to me and I do not know how to tell her. Asmodeus stands from the bed, taking Daeva's hand in his and kisses it delicately "I am Asmodeus" he smiles, I watch as Daeva blushes and looks to me once again "you summoned the devil of lust?" she questions, I go to speak but he cuts me off "some say devil, some say demon, some even call me a god but you can call me whatever you like" he winks. "We have to send him back!" I say growing concerned, if I am caught with a man in my room I will be expelled, which I guess wouldn't actually be a bad thing. I watch Daeva as she collects the leather book from the floor and begins to read, scanning her finger along the pages" here"she points and we both join her either side of her shoulder "it doesn't actually say anything but this symbol means vampire and this one means the oldest" she closes the book and looks at me "the oldest vampire is Silas but he lives in the normal world" she sits herself on the bed as I begin to pace back and forth. "Could we not write to him and tell him of our, my situation" I point "we could always go on an adventure" Asmodeus claps with excitement "you mean leave the kingdom of Lundaris and risk being exposed in the real world?" I begin to panic and my voice shows it "how badly do you want to get rid of him?" Daeva asks "urm hello, he is right here and can hear everything you are saying" Asmodeus points to himself "and I'll have you know I can be very useful, very useful indeed" he flirts "I am desperate, beyond desperate" I plead "oh my dear I know, that dream you had last night was steamy" he teases and I look at him in horror "you have access to my dreams?" my eyes widen as I watch him laugh "I have access to anything I want" oh god, oh no, my dream last night, it was, I dreamt of my first time. It hasn't happened yet because I'm the laughing stock of the school but my dreams are mine and now his apparently.
"He has to go"
