Hello readers! Again, forgive me for this not being apart of the main story line. I'm working on it, trust me!!!!
But, I thought I should clarify, this chapter is escentially how I'm depicting the characters I'm writing about in this story. (I'm just really obsessed with demon slayer so I deep dive into characters lore and whatever)
Anyway! Any info below here is just my opinion on the characters I'm writing about, little to no of it is confirmed cannon!

Shinazugawa Sanemi + spoilers Cannon info :: we know that sanemi is 21 years old and the wind hashira of the demon slaying core. He has no living relatives that we know of and is often portrayed as seemingly rude, antisocial and is also colour blind
Headcannon info / how I'm portraying him :: In this fic, I portray Sanemi as a man who's genuinely kind and nice to be around, though due to his trauma of having to kill his own mother, and growing up with an abusive father he's grown into an aggressive person who lashes out easily and isn't in touch with his inner child. He finds it difficult to show his true feelings, and when he can find it in himself to find them he can't admit it to himself easily.
In my fic he's seen caring for (y/n), (getting medicine for her, staying by her side, trying to stay calm when around her). And this is essentially how he's showing his affection, even if he can't admit the fact that he has a soft spot for her.
In this fic Sanemi has multiple reasons to have this soft spot for (y/n) such as her caring and understanding attitude, during her time knowing him she never looked at him with fear or disappointment in her eyes, which naturally made him more attracted/drawn to her. He's also never portrayed by me with rude/aggressive dialogue or thoughts to (y/n), contrary to how he calls Shinobu 'bug' and states that his two least favourite hashiras are Mitsuri and Kyojuro because of their loud selves.
Again, it's stated in his dialogue that despite the fact that he saw (y/n) in a similar light to Mitsuri and Kyojuro (personality-wise) he is still drawn to her, and that's simply due to the fact that this fanfic is sanemi x reader. /j- sorry!! He seems to see (y/n) in a different light to the love and flame pillar because of his admiration for her- even if it's never gone over by me he always found her intriguing. [ sorry if none of that makes sense. I'm sorta info dumping- oops! ]
Oyakata-sama / Kagaya Ubuyashiki Cannon info :: We know that Kagaya is the head of the demon slaying core, is 23, very ill and a relative of Muzan. I'm not straying too far from his cannon description, hehe
Headcannon info / how I'm portraying them :: In this fic, I'm portraying Kagaya as a father figure to many, his family, the demon slaying core and then some. He's calm and reserved but still keeps up with some of the drama (like how he caught onto Sanemi having a soft spot for (y/n).)
In the short time he's been in this fic I've always portrayed Kagaya as very caring, like how he welcomes so many people into the core and still keeps up with his 'childrens' health (in a way, I mean like he notices changes in their demeanour and stuff)

(Y/n) (L/n) Headcannon info, (not adding cannon cos shes escentially an oc) :: I've always portrayed (y/n) as caring and sincere. After her parents where eaten by a demon she held onto regrets from any time she was anything but overly kind to them and brought it upon herself to be kind to everyone around her.
When she met Shinazugawa, nothing changed. She didn't change anything about her attitude to people just because of his 'unsettling' appearance and aggressive personality. Pre-fanfic the two of them had only interacted a few times but nonetheless (y/n) was nothing but kind to Sanemi. It basically just made him form a crush on her
