You and Millie had always shared a playful banter, often teasing each other during training sessions at the Chelsea Football Club's grounds. Today was no different as you both laughed over a joke about one of Millie's beloved dogs, Zeus, who managed to steal a pair of socks from your bag.

As you walked along the training grounds, Millie suddenly stumbled over a misplaced football and landed on her knees. You rushed over, concern etched on your face, but froze at the sight of blood trickling down her leg. It was a knee scrape, nothing too serious, but enough to make your vision blur and knees weaken. You had always been faint at the sight of blood, a quirk Millie found endearing until now.

Before you could realise what was happening, you felt yourself falling backward. Millie reacted swiftly, reaching out to catch you, but in her haste, she ended up tearing her new jacket, a gift from the team after their latest victory.

"I'm sorry," you muttered, blinking away the dizziness as Millie steadied you. "I didn't mean to... faint."

Millie chuckled softly, her concern melting into a warm smile. "It's alright. Just a scratch. But are you okay?"

You nodded, feeling embarrassed but grateful for Millie's steadying presence. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks."

She glanced down at her torn jacket and then back at you, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Looks like I'll need a new jacket. Maybe you owe me dinner to make up for it?"

You couldn't help but laugh, relieved that she wasn't upset. "Deal. And next time, I promise not to faint."

"Deal," Millie echoed, her smile widening as she draped an arm around your shoulders, guiding you back towards the training pitch. "Come on, let's get back to practice before someone else decides to faint."

As you walked together, your shoulders brushing against each other, you couldn't help but think that maybe, just maybe, your clumsiness had brought you closer to Millie in a way you hadn't expected.
