I don't want to look at her again let alone meet her. Yet here I am getting in the fucking car to drive wherever the hell she is.
And why is she here? In an apartment.
I will just go and get whatever she has to give me. No extra talking. I got my answers and for, me she is nothing more than Shivi's friend.
Even after making her wait in the office for hours, she didn't leave. Anyone else would have left after an hour max. But she didn't.
I hate to admit it but I spend five fucking hours and forty four minutes cancelling all my meetings and even my God damn lunch.
Watching her.
From the second she stepped inside my building, my eyes were on her each and every step. Like I don't have anything important to do. The way she held herself with confidence even in an unknown territory. I was able to listen to her. Which was even more wrong.
She has a soft spot for her secretary considering the way she was speaking to her and she sent her back during lunch. And she works Not just work it felt like all she did that only thing. She answered calls, talked with her employees and even had a meeting while waiting.
The fire in her when she was talking with Jay. I was there. Hearing her voice. Seeing her in front of my eyes roaring like a lioness on my Head of security.
" She yelled at me. Just because you were acting like an arrogant jerk as she said correctly. I don't know what sick kind of pleasure you got from Making her wait." Jay said the second she left. And I just smiled like a madman.
She still has that fire burning in her. The fire that burned me.
My aim to make her wait was to erase all the ideas of working with my company and maybe she might be pissed off enough to stop talking with Shivi. Ek teer se do Nishane.
But looks like hating me wasn't enough for her to stop talking with Shivi.
I stop my vehicle in front of the apartment building. The area isn't somewhere nice but the expansion of the city it's where most small buildings and offices are. Even after having so much money, she has an apartment here!
In the building that's a security hazard.
I walk inside straight to the elevator since there is no one in the reception area and the only guard is snoring so loudly that I am surprised the building hasn't collapsed with the tremors. The camera is just useless pointing in the wrong direction and leaving too many blind spots that too at the entrance.
