" I or someone from the company will visit your office as soon as we make a contract. Your legal team can review it for any changes and if everything goes well we would like to work with you." Meera's mother says as we talk about the contract.

" Sure. I would like to start with the stores first. After we sign." I say already getting ahead of my plan which makes her smile.

Honestly based on the time her mother and I have talked in her office today and now during our video call meeting my respect for her has grown. Remembering Meera told me that after her parents divorced her mother with the help of Meera's grandpa started this company and how well she is doing as the head is something to look up to and learn. No doubt Meera is so smart and strong.

We talk about a few more things before our conversation comes to an end.

" What are you doing?" She asks and I look up. She smiles before saying.

" Don't get me wrong but I heard a pressure cooker whistle." She says and my eyes widen leaving the laptop on the kitchen counter I turn off the gas knob.

" Sorry, I just put the potatoes to boil. It must be distracting. " I say. This is how I will make my first impression on her. So unprofessional of me.

But to my surprise, she laughs. " It's just a surprise to see a man counting whistles while having a business call. I should be the one to say sorry for calling you so late." She says.

" Oh. It's not that late." That is all I say. It's not the first time I have attended a meeting after office hours.

" Your mother raised you well." She says smiling but the smile disappears soon.

" We will discuss it further. " I say waiting for her to cut the call but she doesn't and just looks at the screen.

" Is there something more we should discuss? " I ask breaking the silence. She looks a little nervous before saying.

" How is your mother? " She asks in a meek voice surprising Me once more.

" My mother. " I ask. Why would she ask about my mother? I know all my parent's friends and she isn't one of them for sure.
