Hello, Dear Gentle Readers.
Happy Reading
Madhav
It's been an hour in this club where we are celebrating Rudra's Bachelor's party. Never in this world, I thought that I would be attending my brother-in-law's Bachelor party.
If someone had told me a few months ago, ack I would have laughed in his face and called him or her delusional. Nevertheless, here I am with the men who have grown to become my friends.
" Look at your workaholic friend. He is even late to this party. Was he late to his own." Veer taunts. I don't say he is right. He was the last one to come.
" Why am I smelling Jealousy in the air," I say waving the nonexistent smoke.
" Fuck you." He spats making me chuckle.
It's always been the two of us, and seeing Raghav, who isn't family, unlike Rudra in our close circle, pissed him.
But he will get used to it. When he gets a first-hand experience of how these men want nothing except a friend to talk to. Even if, most of the time, it's business. In the last few months, we have formed a close-knit group.
" Don't you think we should also have a group chat going on?" Rishi asked.
" Why." Rudra is the first one to question.
" Our wifes have a group chat going on. So why can't we? "
Raghav and Veer look at each other. Veer is the odd one out here.
" It's a good idea. But what we will talk about. " I ask before anyone points out Veer not being a part of it. He is my ride and die no way in hell I will make him feel left out.
" Anything. But no Good morning and Good Night texts." Raghav says and we laugh.
" Ok. No Good Morning and Nights." I say.
" It will be a good way to stay in touch and keep each other updated. " Rudra says, and all agree.
It doesn't even take Rishi a few minutes to create a group.
" What should I name it," Rishi asked, ed, taking a sip from his drink.
" Wife hackers. " Veer says with a serious note. Everyone looks at him.
" What." He repeats. " You, all anyway, will be asking about your wives and sharing that info. All your wives are friends, so it will be easy for you to keep an eye on them. Without actually calling them. Tell me if I am wrong. " He says deadpan.
It's half true, but no one will admit it.
" Next name." I say changing the topic.
" Brothers. " Rishi says.
" We aren't. " Raghav says.
" Men," Rudra says earning a glare from us.
" We know our gender. " Rishi says.
"At least Veer came up with something good," Rishi says.
" No." We all say in unison.
" Billionaires. " Raghav says.
" We know our income. " Rudra says.
We keep on going like that until.
