Dear Gentle Readers

Last chapter when I said Meera will grovel I meant she will apologize. Nothing too much.

" What happened with Aanandi," Mumma asks.

" We aren't compatible. " I say the first word that comes to my mind.

" Explain how," Dadisa asked.

" Aap bhi." I look at Dadisa. At least she was at my side earlier.

" Why not? I was thinking bacha hai it's fine. You are looking for the right one. But Maithili is right. What do you think we don't have anything else to do other than to look for a girl for you because it's clear you aren't capable. " She taunts.

"Everywhere we both go whether it's a family function or a party this is what we do. And now I am also irritated. " Mumma adds.

" Then just stop looking. " I say earning a slap on my shoulder from Dadosa who I didn't realize came.

" You will do whatever they say. You won't say no and give the girl and even yourself a fair chance to know each other. If it was up to me I would have already gotten you married by now." I look at him unbelievably.

" Do you know Your father told me about your mother years ago before they got married? He came one random day and told us that this was the girl I wanted to marry but I wanted to wait for a few years until she completed her studies." Dadisa says looking at Mumma.

" Your Parents are going to Delhi for some work today after that whenever they tell you to meet this girl you will go." He orders leaving no room for an argument.

I know why he intervened. When I didn't tell Mumma and Papa about Meera and just shrugged it like it was nothing serious he and Shivi knew how serious my intentions were towards Meera.

" Come with me." Dadosa says.

" I think it's time for you to find a suitable match for yourself. " He says sitting on the chair in the garden.

" I will." I say if there is any person whom I can't say no it's him.

" The girl is your mother's friend's daughter." He says and I agree not wanting to go into the detail. Most of the girls they have asked me to meet were somehow related to Mumma or Dadisa.

This time I won't say no. Maybe this arranged marriage thing will work out. Shivi is so happy with Rudra.

I walk back inside leaving him to read the newspaper.
