The night passes slowly. Every minute felt like an eternity had passed. I was tempted to go and find him.

But I know he won't talk now. He wants me to be sure.

We traveled for the first show of the day that's on the beach. The setup was beautiful, but I was too distracted by what was coming.

An impending conversation.

Numerous celebrities and known faces fill the area, talking and mingling with each other as I make sure every piece that costs millions is safe until our models are on the runway.

Taking a seat at the last I find myself sitting exactly opposite to Madhav. The distance between us increasing. He turns his gaze focusing on the show. Giving me a cold shoulder.

I know he wasn't a part of this show. Not even as a guest, but what I also know is that if he wants something, nothing will stop him. Getting his name on the guest list must be done with a snap of his finger.

At last, everyone dispersed. I try to find him. But he left as he came. Unnoticed

" You were perfect. " I say to Aditya.

"At least look at me when you say that. Not that I care." He says raising his brows.

" I need to leave. Can you take me back to the hotel?" I say.

Asking Mehak and the rest to wind up I leave with Aditya. I didn't have time to focus on his driving and the car as Madhav's words kept on ringing in my mind.

" How did you handle everything?" I ask Aditya. He isn't surprised by my question.

" You don't handle incidents. They handle you. Grief and fear have a way with people. All you need is to go through it because that's not in your hands. But what you can do is make sure or try that what happened doesn't have a negative impact on you or your family. That's what is in your hand." He says not taking his eyes off the road.

He is right. Maybe I could have handled it more strongly instead of letting everything overpower me. Making me a salve to my memories. Letting them haunt me day and night. Pushing me deeper into the dark hole where light can't reach.

Since the location wasn't far away from the resort, we reached it quickly enough. Instead of going to my room, I head straight for the reception area to find his room number.
