This opening covered a large portion of the Sasuke Recovery Mission arc, which is definitely a fan favorite and one of my favorite arcs of the entire first series.
I love the arc because I'm seeing other characters get their time to shine. There's Kiba, Neji, Shikamaru being the leader, and Choji. Rock Lee even had a chance to prove himself in this arc. I felt bad for Shino though, because he didn't get his time to shine.
The song is incredible, the animation is of course top tier, and the opening doesn't really spoil anything other than showing Naruto's squad for the mission.
So many unforgettable moments here too.

Shikamaru was the only one who handled his fight without being seriously injured, just saying.

Choji almost died.
I liked his fight though, because we got to see flashbacks of him and Shikamaru as children. Basically, Shikamaru's words pushed Choji to win his battle. I love their friendship.

Kiba and Akamaru were in DANGER, but they were giving it their all.
I also love the flashbacks with Kiba getting Akamaru for the first time and seeing their friendship develop.

Naruto and Sasuke's first fight... they changed the animation for them and honestly, I'm not complaining. Who's complaining?
This shot right here... why did Sasuke get so close to Naruto's face? Did he want to kiss him goodbye or something? ;-;

Guy and Lee crying is so dramatic. Lee had his time to shine in this arc, and he wasn't even apart of the team. He showed up to the fight wasted. Shino should be the one crying if you really think about it.

Look at all these people.. who thought they could actually bring Sasuke back. For the adults, mainly Tsunade... how did you expect 12/13 year olds to handle this mission on their own? And then you're going to leave Shino? At that point, all you had to do was pray for them.
